When I heard of this news earlier today, I was in shock. Alex Hirsch is the creator of Gravity Falls, my favorite show of all time, and one of the most popular Disney Shows too. Just recently it was announces that Hirsch has been asked by Fox to present a pilot and a presentation for a new FOX animated program to go alongside shows such as The Simpsons and Family Guy.

After the show gets developed and if the pilot gets accepted, were looking at possibly having an awesome show in the future.

What do y'all think?

If it's anything like Family Guy or The Simpsons...I won't be watching any of it. I don't enjoy the less than clean humor of those shows, so I'll be really disappointed if it goes that way. Otherwise yeah, I'd love to see it. Gravity Falls was one of the best shows ever imo.

Fox animation is, well, worse of a garbage heap than it ever has been. If it is anything like Simpsons or Family Guy, it will be an enormous step down from Gravity Falls. Let's hope that Hirsch doesn't become a complete sellout, and sacrifices making a quality show in order to make another one of those low quality shows that fits Fox's ideals.

zanderlex : Most obvious would be Disney's The 7D. I mean...Just look at that show's art and tell me it's not trying to be a rip off. And then their other show Star vs The Forces of Evil has more or less the exact same artstyle. But it tends to imitate the kind of dialogue that happens between characters.
