I got my grades today and I'm super hyped about what I got. Yes, they went down from my first semester but with all of the stuff that i missed or failed, I'm surprised that I did tho great. I got 3 A's and a B. The B was for Earth Science. I got like 10% knocked off my grade for missing my lab final and other lab stuff so this is good.

That was actually my first class in all of my semesters here that I didn't get an A. I wont be able to see my GPA until they actually send it in the mail, but it should be between a 3.82 and a 3.85.

zanderlex : Wow this grades are wonderful! You sure did study hard on your work zander this is amazing! Great work! I am sure by your next one your grades will come out even better!

Eniitan : Nope, I did the complete opposite, never opened up a single textbook either and I missed like 6 exams.

This is what happened during my final exam before it.

Teacher: Everyone's laughing, that means you waited until last night to study.
She points at me and asks if I did the same thing.
Me: No, I started studying this morning on the way here.


After the exam and I'm giving the exam in

Teacher: You were joking about studying only today right?
Me: Yes, I didn't study at all.

That's pretty impressive, I was a last minute student myself as well lol. My last year I did a 40+ page assignment in the matter of about 6-8 hours (stayed up overnight). I managed to get a 94 on it so I was pretty happy, yet upset with myself.

zanderlex : Oh my, it seems with each thread I post in yours something the opposite always comes up. I now see what you mean. @.@

zanderlex : That's really good! I remember when you told me about the labs missed and hey it wasn't too bad at all for missing it! For not studying that's really impressive! What classes are you taking next semester?

Domdof : 40 pages? Eesh I never did something like that. For my final English paper that was supposed to be 5 pages, I did about 23 though.

(stupid English as a second language knowledge). By a breeze I meant "easier". Easy or hard, it is vital to focus your attention on your classes. But if they are easy, it is always better is it not?

That's great Zander especially since you missed alot of stuff. Keep up the great work only 1 B and the rest A's is fantastic in my opinion .

janus : Nope, the easiest classes was the one that I did the worst in. It was so easy and I already knew so much about it, that I just didn't care and I didn't pay attention anymore. For the last two months of that class all I did was use my laptop the entire class while typing up some notes every now and then

Don't feel so bad about it. That happens more than once to plenty of Straight A students.

zanderlex : It sounds like you're taking pride in not doing any prep work or studying or working.  Why does that make you proud?

All of that suggests that you can't pull it off.  Imagine if you did study?  Would you have had all As and a nice, pretty 4.0 GPA? 

Yes.

I hire people for a living and I hang out with others who do the same.  We look at college transcripts and we say to ourselves, "Wow, this guy got lazy and just didn't do the work.  He won't get a job here.  Maybe Burger King is hiring."

Anything other than an A in college is inexcusable.  Those are the easiest grades you'll ever get.  College is easier than high school.

If it's not, you're in for a rough life when reality sets in.

How is anything other than an A inexcusable? A B gets you into any honor society you want and not even a third of students can get into those.

Also, out of my entire college of 15K, I was 8th for highest GPA, so how can anyone keep all A's over time if only a handful of people are actually doing it?

zanderlex : This deserves a repeated standing ovation because you did it without studying. I always study for my exams at least a day before my exams and sometimes still do not do very well on some exams, but luckily the semester I just finished in December 2015 was my last semester for my Computer Information Systems degree (ABUS-SR). ABUS-SR or Associate in Business of Science- Special Requirements is what they call some type of a Computer Information Systems degree, but I finished the Fall 2015 semester with 1 A and 4 B's. I wished I had your skills to do well on tests, but my Cumulative GPA came out to be like 3.123 GPA. My brother did very well better than I did, he got like a 3.423 GPA because he failed a math class and then retook it and got an A+ in it, so it expunged his F in the first attempt and is now replaced with an A+. A little weird if I must say because he was at two different opposite sides of the spectrum from first attempt to second attempt and math is not his best subject, so it is a little surprising to me too as much surprising to him, but you can guarantee that he was happy after that A+ o_0 . Right now, during the break, I went ahead and got a job that I had the interview today and they said I got the job, so I am going to stop education for awhile in college and get money, so you can guarantee that I am happy I got a job on my very first interview lol!

happiness7 : Ooh cool, he got an A+? This is literally just the 2nd time I heard of anyone actually getting an A+ in college, I always thought that's was a myth
