I've been noticing strange things going on with the post box. I don't know exactly when it happens, but it sometimes locks up for no apparent reason and I can't type anything. Strangely, this only seems to happen with Google Chrome, last time I checked. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thankfully, as you can see here, it didn't happen here.

Even stranger, the bug only seems to affect the Normal layout. If I switch to HTML or the old post editor, there's no problems. What is it that makes the Normal layout so buggy on my end? Is it just my computer, or are other people experiencing this problem too?

You're not the only one. I get this too and it's quite annoying, I use Google Chrome too and it's happened on two of the computers I own. When it happens, I have to refresh the post page and hope it will fix itself. I was thinking if it was on my end but it doesn't seem to be the case.

I use Chrome all the time, and I haven't come across this kind of problem. I do know that posting in Chrome is somehow buggy, as I've seen the underline, color font and bold commands working weird some times, although most commonly in long documents such as game guides.

I don't know what can be causing it, but since I haven't experienced it yet, it doesn't seem to be a failure from Chrome, unless you're using a different version of it or have any plugin unactive or outdated. I wish I could be more helpful than this.

I post in chrome all the time aside for when I'm on my phone and I have never ever seen this problem and I posted thousands of times. Are you using the new post editor? If you are, why don't you try using the old one, that might help.

It tends to happen to me when I upload videos. I sometimes have to load the page 2 or 3 times before I can actually write something. The more simultaneous uploads, the worse.

Otherwise I have no problem posting with Chrome. Have you checked for viruses lately, just in case?

I have had this happen only about four times with Chrome mostly when using a PC not so much on my phone. So I just refresh and it tend to do the trick.
