I often think about what I would do if I lived during the end of the world. I imagine different scenarios like tsunamis, fire storms, etc. And pretend that I can randomly survive it all and make it to the very end. Another think I hope for is that I have a music player with me, that has a full battery charge, so that I can listen to all of my favourite music one last time. So if you were in the middle of a cataclysmic event, and were at the last few moments of being on earth, what would be the last song you would listen to? Just pretend that you will not officially die until the song ends. I personally would pick something heroic, and touching like a batman theme, or something that inspires me to keep fighting against all odds until the very end.

I would also like you guys to post a link to the song:

I would pick this awesome remix of the Sonic '06, Unleashed, and Colors themes

TBW, none of that is needed. All you need is good ol' Pokémon Theme and you can survive anything!

Wow, I have so many choices for this sort of thing, it hurts so much...

Um, let's see, I guess I'll go with one I've been listening to too much that serves this purpose well enough: the final boss (Phase 1 (if I want to choose a more fear-focused or destined piece) or Phase 2 (if I want to choose something with more of a hopeful and fast-paced theme to it)) theme from Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon.

I'm more imagining a heated fight against a physical incarnation of the cause of that sort of doomsday, though. I'm an action lover, so that's just kind of how I imagine most stuff. Oh well.

RDay13 : Can it be the Pokemon Johto theme?  If so, I might totally go for it.  That song is super catchy, pun intended.

I'm torn between saying I Remember (Deadmau5 featuring Kaskade) and Killin' It (Krewella). Both give such different vibes but are perfect for dying to in an apocolyspe. Xp

I'd like to be listening to this as some advancing wall of doom is moments away from killing me.

A user of this : Darn, that's actually a smart idea.

Upon this new information of actually dying in that apocalypse, I submit this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnY1d-J9r3w

I don't even know why, but this was what first came to mind for me when I thought of it for a total of two seconds.

For my last song, I would probably want it to be pretty much any sing that's by Skillet. Not only do I love most of their songs, but some of the songs would be perfect fits for this. Their songs match the mood, the lyrics and the actual music pretty much gives you a dark feeling if you pay close attention to every little detail. Lets not forget that every song seems to mention death in one way or another so it's perfect.

At his funeral, my husband wants me to play "Tears in Heaven" by Eric Clapton. I might play that one too, but Ne me quitte pas (do not leave me) by Jacques Brel would be appropriate

zanderlex : Interesting. I have a friend who liked Skillet, and she got me into it. Their music is pretty good. Especially when it's played over a Naruto fight scene.

I would chose 'The End' by The Doors.  I can imagine myself laying on a field and I've been shot down or maybe I've been working with a syndicate and a rival group has me surrounded and ends me.

In hindsight, you could listen to the song that never ends from lamb chop and never die.

I'd probably listen to either:

Judgement of Corruption
Your Heart and I Becoming One
Matryoshka
How to make a She-trawberry
Rotten Girl: Grotesque Romance

I can't pick.
