I played a demo of a Final Fantasy game way back, I believe it was on the PSX, but it could have possible been on PS2. It started off in the forest, where you and your friends were being attacked by rangers. You end up reaching a town which has been burnt down, killing one of the characters families. I know it's not a whole lot of info, if I remember anymore info on it I'll be sure to put it in here, but that's all I can remember for now. I loved the demo so much I played it over a dozen times, but my parents wouldn't let me buy the game. I'm positive it was a Final Fantasy, I'm just not sure which one it was.. Please help me

I've just looked it up because I have forgotten the game. The one game that came in with that is Final Fantasy Tactics this may be the long lost childhood game you are looking for.

Eniitan : I don't believe it is no, the game I'm looking for would have been after that game, the graphics weren't the same and there was no castle in the beginning of the game/demo. Thanks for trying though

It sounds like Final Fantasy II, but that was on NES and then ported to GBA in Final Fantasy I+II Dawn of Souls. It was also remade for the PSP.
