Since the lost of the superbowl for Peyton Manning, one do you think he is still the best with only 1 ring ,9-9 rec in the playoffs and 4 mvps. Or do you take Mr.Brady with 3 rings, great post season rec and 1 mvp.

Peyton definitely. Having more Super Bowl rings doesn't make you better. Dan Morino is probably on the top 5 best but he never once got a Super Bowl ring. Likewise, a bad Quarterback could have a really good team and get multiple Super Bowl rings.

Peyton Manning though just amazes me. When you watch him play, it's just amazing at how quickly he finds someone open and how quickly he gets rid of the ball and at the same time, maintain amazing accuracy. On top of all this, he's incredibly tough, he's never missed a game. I honestly think at the rate he's going, assuming he plays until he's at least 38, he may go down as being one of the greatest quarterbacks ever.

Tom Brady is obviously really good but now he's just overated and is starting to go down hill.

I think that they're both really good, but are both slightly overrated. I'm gonna go with Brady because I'm a huge New England fan, but I still think that he's gotten too much attention. He started out as an amazing quarterback, and that's what really made people so obsessed with him. There were others better, but he was coming out at a great level right from the get-go. True, he has won three Superbowls, but that's not why he's so great. He's great because, obviously he's got lots of talent, but he's also honest and not a glory hound. Now, for Peyton, he's also a great quarterback, and he also knows humility, but the reason that people are crazy about him is because he started out pretty good and steadily increased until about 2 years ago. He didn't start out at the level that Tom Brady did, but they are both at roughly teh same place now, albeit with slightly different areas of excellence.

Tom Brady all the way. I love the Patriots, and he's not obsessed with football like Peyton. He's also a generous guy considering after they won the 2004 Superbowl he bought the entire offensive line Escalades.

I watched some of the game last night and Peyton Manning was impressive. They were on a roll at first then a few hours later I swiched back and they were getting owned lol. Not sure what happened there. But you can't blame the loss on Payten because from what I saw the receivers did a horrible job catching his throws.

I think best of all time is still John Elway, his number was 7 (lucky number) and it proves it cause he was able to pull miracles out at the last minute.

Going to the super bowl isn't solely based on a quarter back as lots of people make it out to be, its a team effort. Without a good team I don't care who is throwing the ball the team will suck period. Last night was a good example of a good quarter back and a lousy team effort they were not catching or defending well.

where is Farve? he's really good too.

Peyton is a really impressive QB. Probably my favorite one out of all of them. The way he can move the ball down the field (perfectly demonstrated on the Colts' last possession in the SB) is just amazing. What I think is funny is he throws bullets pretty much every time, no matter if it's for 10 yards or 80, he will throw that ball as hard as possible.

That just goes to show how much strength and endurance he has. You'd think he would slow down around the end of the game, but he's just as good at the start as he is at the end (also perfectly demonstrated at the end of the game). Most QB's try to conserve some energy for the shorter passes, but not him.
