I couldn't stay home today so I decides to go to the beach today with my friend. It's been really hot lately, officially the hottest Christmas Eve in history here so going to the beach on December 26th in just a T Shirt didn't seem too bad. It was dark and we found a series of giant rocks that started slightly in the sand and went put about 50 feet off the shore and we decided to climb them and go out into the water.

We had a blast, the waves going past us and the view were amazing. My friend was sitting on a rock about half way up and then we eventually started walking across until we were about 20 feet off the shore and after like half an hour the tides started coming in so we retreated and sat on the rocks on the shore but there was a problem, I had to pee. I was going to go to the bathroom but my friend kept telling mw to go there, and eventually I gave in. I started walking across the rocks again to the rock that my friend was originally sitting on.

I kept trying to position myself so I could sit on the rock, I had my hands on that rock and both my feet on two other rocks and without any warning, I slipped and plopped right into the ocean. Sure, falling fave first into a deep ocean full of rocks sounds bad but the worst part was that as soon as I fell, my right shoe fell right off and was zipping out in the waves. Most of my body was in the water and I was holding onto the rock, and I quickly struck a near by rock with my foot so that I could pin my shoe to it. My leg twisted and my foot and the shoe got trapped under the rock.

I felt fine, but I had to wait there for a bit until my friend could climb over and take the shoe so I could climb up. So all in all, I twisted my ankle, pulled something in my leg, and scrapped a few parts of my leg. I wouldn't want to do something like that again, but it was a fun experience, the scariest part was the thought of my shoe floating out into the ocean.

Wow, that sounds bad! I hope your foot heals soon. 

Dang that's some story. Sounds exactly like something I would do lol. Hope you get better and your ankle/leg heals up quick. *hugs*

Bintsy : I'm fine now except for the many scratches and very sore feet and I think my sneakers are scarred for life, it took me hours to fix them.

A little late here, but dude, seriously? This is why toilets are your friends. Remember the words of mrfe: take the toilet and run. Don't ask what it means, just remember it because it's humorous. Also use a toilet next time maybe.

Oh gosh...I hope your foot heals soon dude. That sounds quite the adventure though. Although I personally would have just held it...Or looked for a bush or port-a-potty. Although I have experienced the horrors of water taking a shoe from you...It will be better one day, I promise.

To be fair, it doesn't sound like your leg actually broke...

Still, that's quite a unique experience. It almost takes skill to do something like that, lol. As Eirinn pointed out, a wise man once said 'take the toilet and run', and I'd consider listening to that next time.

Not that I'm promoting 'relieving yourself' in the ocean, or anywhere but a bathroom, of course. "mrfe promotes 'relieving yourself' in appropriate areas!"

mrfe : It wasn't in the ocean, the ocean just so happened to come up to me when I wad least expecting it.

Mrfe said it before me, but it sounds like a sprain... that might be worse than actually breaking it. >.<
Make sure you get it looked at if you haven't already. Untreated, it could cause recurring pain later.
