It's been so long since I've had the chance to write creatively in school so I decided to do so on my own time

While I look



The man beside me



Took,



As I leave,



It goes up his sleeve,



As we exit,



It remains unknown,



As I drive I wonder if,



I should have talked,



And how my actions



Would've shown,



And how to shed



This cloak of guilt.



As I sleep,



Thoughts follow me to bed



And as I dream,



I make things seem,



As if they never been,



A made up story,



A part of my dream,



To go with the gory



Nightmares.



Things I shove away,



To escape to my dreams.



My way of dealing with fear,



Of the world around,



And within.

Suggestions, comments, would be great! Even constructive criticism! (especially that, very useful)



Comparison through smaller things to larger things (e.g. shootings, bombings- to stuff like the loss of a loved one) is the main way I attempt to show human nature, that we don't always want to face the horrors of life, and attempt to escape that through dreams, false views of the world as perfect (or, semi-perfect, nothing majorly wrong) or as a utopia.

If you have any topic/genre/event/etc.  you want me to write about (in any format) feel free to suggest! (I'll be sure to credit you for the idea) I'm in a serious lack of stuff to do...

Crap. I don't know how to summon. or who to summon This is bad, hopefully people won't mind the simple white on black layout...
