Over the past couple of days I thought my computer or internet connection was messing up because of how the forums looked, now I've realized the forum side of the site has completely changed drastically.Here's what I personally like about the format/display changes, all the new widgets that are displayed in the main forum section (such as users on vizzed, friends actions, your online friends, last threads posted, etc) because they keep me informed and up to date about threads I'm following and what my friends have been up to right from the moment I login. But here's what I kinda don't like about the formatting but first having everything on one main page is great for active poster such as myself because it cuts down navigation time to look through the forums and find one I want to post in but it is alot of information on one page, everything's basically compacted together, and is kind of an eye strain and gives you an overwhelmed feeling. Edit:now that I'm on my phone,the new formatting makes navigating via a mobile easy.

But this is just my opinion my question for you the vizzed community is how do you feel about the new formatting/display of the forum side of the site?

I feel the same way in both what you liked, and what you've complained about. However, I believe over time we'll get used to how "compact" it all is, and come to appreciate it. It'll just take some settling in.

Celestial Knight : To be honest, I actually like the new display better. It makes it a lot better for me, as instead of taking up the whole page, it covers only a portion of the screen. This helps because it allows more content to be shown, instead of just focusing on the forums. It allows you to learn more about the recent activity and daily information (such as birthdays) of the forum and about the users. I especially love all of the new dynamic boxes (e.g. Vizzed Board Community box) on the center page. Thanks to things like this, I can keep caught up to the information of posts, threads, and users more efficiently.

The Only Limits To What You Can Do Are The Ones You Set For Yourself 

Any change to a website takes some time to get used to.

And trust me, this is a change for the better. Mobile (phone/tablet) browsing is going to keep getting better and the site overall is going to be so much more customizable. Give it time and you can make the entire forum black or white or green or blue. It will only affect you but it will allow you to change how the site looks. I think this is a great feature that is coming soon. It will help people who don't like the standard view of the site to change it to their liking.

There are also more widgets coming so if you don't love the ones that are available right now there are more that will be coming in the near future.

Also, with the new code I imagine there will be room for a lot more suggestions from members of ways to improve the site which will be easier to add in now.

There is a lot to be excited about going forward with the new site. Just give it time and more will be available.

I don't personally like how everything's all compacted together, especially on the phone because most of the places I use like New Posts were completely taken out so I have to remember the link from now on.

I remember the first time that I saw it. One min I was on the original vizzed site layout. Another was the new one. At first I thought it was something that played up I refreshed the page twice. Then I said to myself holy cow....its changed and I felt very overwhelmed of how it was. And that was not in a good way. As geeo said he have to try and adapt to the new layout. I'm still getting used to it. But before my eyes went funny when looking at the page. I also took the time to explore. Because well who wouldn't? There are still somethings that are not up yet and will be soon. This will help the site and if it is something that will help the site then I can bear with it. Since changes are not my thing..

The RGR & VGR sides of Vizzed already had this code for a while, and David planned to have the boards have the same code, and now it is.

Actually, now that tRIUNE has brought it up I agree. This could have been posted in David's thread instead of in a brand new thread.

Any opinions/suggestions/positive comments should go to that thread instead.
