I'm assuming you're talking about the stats window in your profile. If so, it does go up. Each time you make a post or thread you gain a certain amount of experience, based on how long you've been here and how many posts you already have. The bar should go up fast since you do not need much experience to level up. Does this help?

wait, so if you post more, it takes less time to get XP in time? i think i get it. like if you have a bunch of posts, you get 5 xp in ? hours instead of less. does the amount you earn over time decrease if your not osting for a while?

yes it does... you've got to keep posting for that exp per amount to stay at a good level.
