Sure, you have Pokemon Go, but that's probably a long way off, but really soon, as in possibly this month or early next month, Nintendo is going to reveal update on its first mobile game, which is supposedly going to be for ios. Rumors have been going about what brand could be featured in the debut title, whether it's Mario, Zelda, or someone else.

Who would you want to see in a mobile game and do you think Nintendo can succeed in this area?

They probably will succeed in the mobile market. However, I probably won't get any of their mobile games mainly because I prefer to play games on video game systems and here on vizzed rather than on a phone.

Like I said in skilledtree's article, I think Nintendo could kill it in mobile if, rather than focusing on mobile experiences and new games, they simply brought the virtual console to iOS and Android. Imagine NES games like Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, or even SNES games like Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country, etc. This would sell like mad, and would allow them to release for sale games rather than relying on micro transactions. All around hit, and good for both Nintendo and their customers. Will they do it? Who knows. But yeah, they can make it in mobile if they're smart about it.

Of course, I'd want to see Mario in a mobile game. I've already played a mobile game on my smartphone that is very similar to Super Mario Bros. and it was very fun to play!

As long as they do well with the controls and feature some of their most popular retro games on mobile, I think they'll be a huge success with going mobile! Also, they shouldn't make their games too expensive. I'm happy about this

I know that a lot of people are excited about the prospects of "Pokemon Go" People will buy stuff if it's available on mobile. I mean developers have already made tons of money selling Final Fantasy and Sonic ports on those platforms.

I would assume that Nintendo would deal mostly with iOS to start. With Android they have the issue that there are already a ton of great emulators on the platform, but that won't stop people from buying the guys ultimately I feel.
