So I just read on cnn that there is a petition out to rename the island ( the one across from the haunted mansion) at Disneyland in Anaheim to Lost Island. After the T.V. show.

I pray it doesn't actually happen.

Well, they've ruined a bunch of other things... but I don't think that show is kid friendly so I doubt that it will fly. I'm still pissed at them for renaming the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House.

What's next, renaming the riverboats? Splash Mountain?

Lost fans are crazy for even thinking this idea might work....actually i take that back...disney is too dumb and might actually let it go through...disney used to be so much better back when they focused on cartoons (the reason the name disney got big in the first place) and started making shows like hannah montana and every other lame show that they air now. Walt is probably rolling in his grave right now

They renamed the tree house! When and to what? I find this all pretty stupid, if they want something different why don't they just make something different, instead of altering the names and the history behind the attractions.

Tom Sawyer Island was the worst part of dineyland when I was a kid. Way too long lines, way too hot outside, and there was always beer bottles and ciggaret buds in the treehouse. And the end of the journey, they served penut butter sandwiches, and it wasen't EVEN IN THE SHADE!!! I hope they do change the name, or better yet, GET RID OF IT ALTOGETHER.

The Tree House was renamed the Tarzan Tree House after the cartoon came out... I think they did it back in 2003 or so.

I liked Tom Sawyer's Island! It's all exploring caves and running around and goofing off and waving at the river boats. Lost is just stupid.

Oh... and for those that don't know, it's the Finding Nemo Submarine Ride and the Cars racetrack now. Ugh! And don't even get me started on what they did to Pirates of the Carribean! Pardon my language but f*** you Disneyland!
