So yesterday, a new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was released for the everyone to see. For those of you who haven't seen it, it can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGbxmsDFVnE

So after watching the trailer, the part that caught my attention the most was at the end where that black stormtrooper is about to battle that Sith guy that has the cross guard lightsaber. The black stormtrooper guy's holding a blue lightsaber, so could this mean he's going to be a jedi? It'll be interesting to find out the answer and see how this new one will compare to the rest of the series. Are any of you as excited about this as I am?

Wow. That was insane. The trailer looked AND sounded epic. I wasn't planning on seeing it in theaters, but now I think I might have to AND in IMAX 3D as well. It looked really really cool.


My guess is that he was never actually a stormtrooper but was in fact in disguise as one.

I really can't wait to see the movie! The trailer was amazing! I really had chills. Having grown up with the original 3 movies, I couldn't be more excited. The parts in the trailer that stood out the most to me were watching the Millennium Falcon doing awesome maneuvers, or seeing Darth Vaders mangled mask heck even the parts showing Han.

It may be the official trailer, but I do hope another one will come by as there are too many questions left (like where is Luke?!). The "black stormtrooper" does yield a lightsaber, but when he confronts the Sith he seems to be very shaky; would he just be an apprentice? Plus, when he is running around the X-Wings with that seemingly important pilot he does not seem to wear it.

Also, that lead female character does not seem to have the Force. Could she be Han and Leia's daughter still? That would explain his explanation about "all of this being real."

As I was watching a trailer "analysis" over Youtube, I came out with a crazy theory: what if the Dark Jedi were Luke? That would explain why we do not see his face anywhere in the trailers - merely his voice in one of the teasers. That would also explain how he got Darth Vader's mask; he burned his funeral pyre by himself and probably never told anyone about it
