This is kinda an update to anyone who cares: My laptop has sadly broken. For the last month one of my laptop hinges has been broken off. I was able to use it via some tricky moving of the screen but over the weekend the other hinge gave up and also broken off. I'm trying to send it back via the warranty but this could be a long process. To sum it all up: I still have my macbook air but due to the lack of a vizzed plugin and the work around not working on my mac means I can only write reviews of games I own in really life and post the board.

Sorry to hear that your laptop broke. That's crazy that the hinges just broke off. How did that even happen, Did you drop it or something?

I know it kinda stinks that your Mac Air can't run the plugin, but at least you can use the Java emulators and post on the board. At least you have some sort of backup.

That sucks but at least you can still get on, right? I barely use my laptop for vizzed anymore, I mostly just use my phone now and I don't use the plugin, but of course if you want to just play the games, then that really can be a problem for you, but other than that you should be fine, things will be ok.

Snorp02 : Hmm. that's too bad. You can click on the security settings and choose it to allow to run the Java plugins. It just always asks you that because the Java emulators use an older version of Java. That's the only reason for the security notification.

Ah, laptops. My family has a horrible history with laptops and I've heard various issues with laptops from other people as well. We mainly have issues with the laptop's internet and speed.

Sorry to hear that yours broke. I'm hoping you can get a new one ASAP. For now, at least you have the MacBook Air as an alternative.

Wow, that really sucks, dude. Sorry to hear that; I'd honestly have a tough time if I had to use a macbook, to be completely honest. I'm not fond of being kind of cut off by simpler interfaces that try to remove most of the hassle of a regular PC (and I know that's a purely subjective thing, since I also just tend to know my way well enough around a regular Windows PC to fix most common problems). Hope that gets replaced or warrantied (...if that's even a word) or whatever!
