When you get new trading cards on Steam? What do you do with them most often? Do you just leave them alone in your inventory, do you sell them, or do you actively try to get the remaining cards to get a badge?

For me I will usually sell them if there's something that I want to buy, but I love badges too and if there's a game that I want a badge for, I will try to go for that instead of selling the cards.

I used to trade them for games on /r/indiegameswap on Reddit, but these days, I usually just sell them.  I don't really earn a lot of cards anymore because I quit idling games for cards.  I stick now to games I enjoy most, such as Shovel Knight and Guacamelee!.  I've really been enjoying "Plague of Shadows", the free DLC for Shovel Knight.  It's better than I expected, and the feel of it is just awesome.

supernerd117 : You can actually do that on reddit? I have been to IGS a lot and I have never seen that. The people that I have seen always wanted keys, bundle games, or some sort of money. I've never seen anyone ever sell games for cards, but if I did then I would be sure to jump at the opportunity.

zanderlex : It's not as common anymore, but there are a few traders that accept cards (and even then, they're usually a low priority).  One of IGS's biggest traders, Phrostbyt (also known as Crazy Dimitry) accepts cards, but they're his lowest priority.  However, his prices are often cheaper than I've seen anywhere else, and his selection is one of the biggest on IGS.

supernerd117 : The exchange rate would probably be really expensive. A $5 game would probably cost like more than 50 cards and that doesn't even count the exchange fees. I doubt that I would ever be able to buy any games off of him with cards unless I bought a ton of cards mysedl and that would kind of defeat the purpose.
