Do you want to watch a movie online without getting arrested or something? It maybe read some comics, listen to music or so other things? Well, you should because you should be outside with a life instead, but now you can!

I recently found this website called Hoopla Digital which is still quite new and you can do all that for free and legally, so I had to check it out to see what it was like and it was pretty cool. Apparently all you need is a library card, which I'm guessing any library card would do, and you can borrow thousands of movies to stream. I only recognized about 10% of the movies they had listed, but a few of them were pretty well known and there were some good animated movies as well.

You can also listen to tons of music and audio books as well and just last week they made a deal with Dark Horse Comics to show a ton of comics on their site.

Have any of you heard of Hoopla or are curious about it?

I'll have to check that out! I know a couple of websites that stream movies and even TV shows for free. But it's like they say, the more the merrier!

For a free service, I mean you can't really complain. I don't have a library card, so I guess I'm out of the loop. It's definitely a really cool thing I never heard of though. I wonder why it isn't being advertised?

Skilledtree : I'm disappointed, I have two library cards and it turns out I can't use them.

zanderlex : Why can't you use them? Is it like only specific libraries support this or something?

Skilledtree : Only like a thousand libraries are part of it I guess.

zanderlex : That's a bit disappointing. There might be a way around it somehow? I don't know, but that's definitely a bummer. Is there a list of which libraries support this?

That's amazing, especially it being legal! I agree with Skilledtree, it should be advertised. Oh well, it'll be more impressive if it becomes popular without advertisement.

Yeah, I have heard of it. My library is a part of it. And you need to have your library card number, which will probably be checked and all.
Skilledtree : Visit hoopla.com and then press "Log In" and then go down to "New to hoopla?" and then press "Sign Up Now."
And also, you might be able to use 3M Digital Library for other books.
