Hey guys its me again here. The title may sound confusing, but I will try explain what it means. Like when you play a video games. Have you ever come across someone looking like that video game character? Like for instance. tidus. Then along came ff13-2 I saw it, and straight away as it hit me a main character called noel LOOKS like tidus from ff10, and to show you what I mean here's some pictures.

I'm not sure if you meant 'when video game characters look like other video game characters', or if you could have also meant 'when video game characters look like people you know', but there is a video game character that looks exactly like someone I know. It's super creepy...

Could the characters be from the same game ?

Terra from Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep sorta looks like Noel ( again ) from Final Fantasy XIII-2. All you have to do is give Noel the same exact hair cut as Terra and there we go.

The protagonists in mother 1 (earthbound beginnings) and mother 2 (earthbound) is pretty much identical. This confused me as I'm pretty new to the series. And now I've accidentally named Ninten after Ness in my first run, as I've only previously known the series from smash bros.



I'm guessing they tried to pull off some kind of Legend of Zelda thing, where the protagonist looked the same in every game. But they broke that pattern in Mother 3, so now it's just confusing.

Also, they look a bit like the trainers in the original pokemon games, if you compare the sprites.

This is constant in video games since there are not that many creators. For example, one of the creators of Chrono Trigger also participated in Dragon Warrior VI, so both heroes have the same haircut and basically the same clothes (with slight color differences).
