I live in gettysburg, pennsylvania, usa and it has always been soda to me but when i went one state west into ohio everyone there called it pop and they thought i was stupid.

When i went down south to georgia however i called it pop because i thought they would be like the people in ohio and the people in georgia called me stupid for that.

so apparently its a little different everywhere, but i voted for "soda" because that is what people in my area call it.
