So I've been working at Big Five for almost a month now, and am finally getting a handle on this whole working thing. It comes as a surprise to me that I'm actually competent and friendly, and am capable of doing all the things required of me.

The other day, a customer flirted with me too, and it was really awkward.

As an employee, we are taught to make the sale, and not to make them feel awkward.

Of course, there is no way to respond to her without making it awkward! I have a girlfriend, so that's doubly true. It turns out, the best thing I can do (and what I ended up doing) is to just smile and nod, and try to veer the conversation to something more appropriate.

I learn something new every day. Can't wait to see what I learn next week.

Please tell me that someone else felt how dumb the site was being last night? Once 11PM hit, the site just refused to work, every other second I would get message could not display or page is not available message for no reason. I made a post, but the site went down as I was typing so it didn't go through and I had to wait more than 20 minutes before I could submit it again, not being able to make it past the index page during that entire span.

Whenever I wanted to reply to something, I had to click reply, then back out, then click reply again, then back out again, and then click reply a third time before I could even access the reply page. New Posts was 100 percent inaccessible from 11 PM until like a quarter to 12, and the only way I could end up posting, was if I kept alternating between phones in between each post and re logging in every time, and sometimes I couldn't even log in. The very first time, I had to log in like 5 times before I could even make it to the thread that I waited more than 20 minutes to reply to. Not to mention that it only got worse as the hour went on, and is the worst I have ever seen. I really hope that other people have saw how bad the site was.

Is there really that many other people on at that time?!?!?!?!?! Its not like ANY OTHER SITE HAD ANY PTOBLEMS.

Anyway my writing days are getting better and better! I have attracted over 100k readers to my articles in the past 2 months, and it's only the beginning!

Sometimes I question whether or not I should be here anymore. More often than not I feel like I'm in the way rather than helping. I also get criticism about 10 times more often than I get thanks or praise for what I do.

It would be so much easier to just step down and let other people deal with all the crap and I can just hang out and play on the minecraft server and not have to worry about things anymore.

It's really tempting. So tempting that I have my resignation message typed out and ready to send to David. Just need to actually do it.

So mental disorders. I've wanted to talk about them for a bit but never found the time. Not themselves, but I really want to talk about how they're being treated, but by the young community.

Why are we glorifying them? Why are we glorifying acts of self harm?

-Depression is not special.
-Anxiety is not cute.
-Self harms scar are not beautiful or a sign of a gentle heart.
-Suicide is not poetic.
-Eating disorders are not glamorous.
-Schizophrenia is the most horrifying thing you can have.
-You don't ever want to have a mental disorder.

I can't see why people glorify something like this. From experience, these things are the worst things to happen to a person. And for the community to put them on a pedestal and think it's good to have them is honestly messed up beyond belief.

I'm surprised this thread made it this far with only one required Leggy Edit.

I just looked out my window and it's snowing again, like it has for the past couple days. I'm off school on Monday anyways for Presidents' Day, so in the words of my teacher, "It's a wasted snow day." Oh well, I only have 2 weeks left of my trimester before I get 2 days off school to transition into my final trimester of the year.

I'm totally done with my family.... well, half of my family.

I haven't spoken to one of my brothers in about 4 years now (maybe 3 and a half) and I doubt I ever will again. He's a drug addict and a drunk and doesn't care about anyone but himself.

My other brother is recently divorced and remarried and his new wife is nearly as much drama as his old one and now he has both a current and ex wife creating drama in his life. I can't be around them without hearing all about it. Any time I try and interact with them it is just drama drama drama. My wife tried to reach out to my brothers new wife this week and got shut down in her attempt. It ended with the new wife guilt tripping my wife because she is "in the hospital" right now which is something we didn't know about until the moment she told us. So stupid and frustrating to deal with people like that. Figure yourself out!

Sometimes I feel the world doesn't want to know anything about me. Everywhere I go I feel like a ghost: present but unseeable, talking but unhearable, typing but unreadable. The online campus of my university, this site, talking remotely or directly with my friends or family... I can't help but ask myself why I keep trying, I could be silent and nobody would notice a difference. I'm not craving for attention, but I just don't understand how literally all my worlds work similarly, even though I'm not the same on all of them.

This situation has shown me my internal battle is a three way battle royal: my disease, my negative side and my positive side. While I seem to have my disease under control, my negative side is a bit more rebel and harder to control. What's worse, my negative side and my disease work hand in hand, so if my positive side ever falters they will take the chance and strike at once.

Giving up is the easy way, but not giving up is the correct way. I've went with this motto for several years, but I can't help questioning it recently. I was a lone wolf back in the day and seemingly nothing much has changed since then, so I'm growing insecure about my efforts really paying off. The challenges I've set for myself throughout this 2016 will demonstrate once and for all if my motto is right and hopefully dissipate all the doubts within myself.

I don't use this site often, and that's mainly because I actually have other things to do for once in my life. I've started to earn a small amount of money at a tutoring job, and I finally finished all my things for college. Long story short, I'm attending the University of Illinois next year on a statistics major. It'll be something completely new for me, as I'll be living without my piece of crap brother for once and I'll be all by myself, plus a roommate naturally. As I only accepted my offer on Thursday, I have just started looking for a roommate. I still have yet to decide what type of roommate I want, because I feel like if I roomed with someone too much like me I would get annoyed, while if they're completely different I'll also get annoyed. Oh well.

As this is my first election I'm able to vote in, I'm really excited. Except for the fact it's becoming a "vote for the guy running against Trump" type of thing. I don't get how people justify looking at him as a president, the guy just won't work. I don't believe he has a clue about economic policy, and he's a jack@$$. His performance with regards to foreign policy will be terrible if elected.

Recently recorded some more stuff as Snake. I've gotten a lot better than I used to be. Honestly, I cringe every time I hear my old Snake voice. It's soooooooooooooooooo bad. I'd just like to throw in that David Hayter, the actual voice actor for Solid Snake, called my Snake voice "terrific." Also, I do take requests. Message me if you want me to read something for you. I feel like I'm slacking off in school because I really want to drop out. But I really need the credits for what I want to take in university. So, it's a bit of a struggle, and I've already missed 3 weeks since the start on Feb 9th. This is my 3rd time taking the courses, because the first time I didn't take it seriously, and the 2nd I wasn't in the right state of mind you could say.

Being a Global is...not a glamorous job. Especially when more often than not I am also the only mod+ online, and end up dedicating hours at a time solely dealing with somebody's complaining, or dealing with another rereg that shows up, or whatever. Then some people just straight up make me mad. And then with all this, I leave the computer and take the tension with me. So I kinda get frustrated with everyone very easily, and in some cases, I am angry or depressed most of the day from crap I have to deal with online. Of course, everyone at my house seems more than willing to pick on me the rest of the day, because for some reason I'm the one of the only acceptable targets at my house.

So the moral to this is, sometime, you should thank the staff+ of this site. They volunteer to work on a site they care about, and take tons of crap from everybody for their status. It's a thankless job with tons of expectations and responsibilities. Yet for some reason, they are only looked upon with scorn, or are feared. This needs to stop.

It's official: I'm done with university until June. I've decided to not follow the activities my subjects suggest and instead I'll be aiming for the final exam.

It has all been because of internal battles. Said activities asked for things I dislike or things that are a complete waste of time. These internal battles just weren't worth the time, they were also consuming my real life and I couldn't let that happen.

It's not like I'm missing much, because if you got a good enough grade in these activities, you were granted a shorter (and technically easier) exam. I'm not going to have internal battles or waste my time when the prize is just a shorter exam because it's a greater waste of time. If there was no other way to pass my subjects I'd have to deal with it, but if all they want is to test me via a written exam I don't care if it's shorter or longer as long as I have the time to prepare them (which I'll surely have). Also, the "easier" part is just because following the activities means following the study modules, but I can follow and prepare the modules on my own and as such the shorter exam isn't actually easier.

This also means I'll now have time for other things, for example, to focus on the activities suggested by the Orientation Service to enter the job market. All in all, I don't regret this decision, no matter what the outcome is, and I fully intend on repeating this method in the future if it brings more good than bad to my life.

This is BS. I was supposed to go and be in the audience for a Game Show today but the ticket screwed me over, I got there like 10 minutes before the deadline but aparently I went to the wrong building. Apparently all these big studios have different buildings that aren't the ones that people know about and yet still have the exact same name.


The ticket had the address on it, but whats the point of looking at an address when you already know where the building is and you have been there before and have even been to other shows by the same people in that building. The address means nothing because people are going to assume it's the same place as always, especially when you're using a NYC address that happens to be on the same street as the main building, yet 3 blocks away.

There should be some sort of a warning on the ticket saying it's not in the "MAIN BUILDING" most people don't even know that there are more than 1 company building with the same name on it.

I'm just here to be here. In a way, I'm simply posting something dumb, because I've seen how much leggy hates stupidity, and this is the only place I can post something dumb without consequences. More than anything, I want to say how much I would love having a Meseeks box IRL. Having a funny character to do any chore or task I assigned them with would be fantastic. I would love few things in this world more than the opportunity to do just that. The best part is they would never complain or get tired of helping. I'm not lazy, but I don't want to work any harder than I absolutely have to.
