The latest update to Google Chrome has officially removed NPAPI support which is the type of plugin the RGR Plugin is which means that those using Google Chrome can no longer play RGR Plugin games in the Retro Game Room. However, we've been working on an RGR Plugin release which doesn't use NPAPI for Google Chrome (uses flash technology instead) so that it works with Google Chrome. That release isn't quite finished yet but you can download a beta of it below if you want to be able to play RGR games in Google Chrome right away.

I downloaded this version with the intention of doing more testing, don't know why but I expected some changes from the latest beta.

Right now, I'm testing GBA on Mednafen, and the first change isn't for the better, as I keep seeing a black screen with a two lined message for like 0.2 seconds everytime I click out of the play screen or I go full screen. I've tried to read it, but the time lapse is very small.

Another note I would like to make about this system and emulator is that the game seemingly runs a bit smoothier when going full screen.

I'll do again the same test I made with the last beta and come with the full results list in a while.

As someone who has played Vizzed games on FF/Opera and Chrome, for some reason it always felt fastest on Chrome.
Either that or my mind has been warped by the Google, I think i'm going to go with that one, sounds more logical. 
Anyway, thanks for the update David and crew who worked on this. I'll be sure to use it whenever I can.

More testing has been done, and more good news are coming.

On the last beta, I tried a game for the SNES (https://www.vizzed.com/playonlinegames/game.php?id=8721) without any good results. This time, however, Mednafen did work, and I was able to perfectly play the game with a controller.

Sadly, this is everything I have to add to the testing I did on the last beta. Still, it's a proof of the progress you are making. Looking forward to the finished release.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
