I have a idea for a new contest that may help bring in more money for the website.
Why not make a donation contest? Have the same rules apply as all the other contest but instead of offering a cash prize just give double the Viz as the normal contest so that way it is pure profit. I'm not sure how well the contest will do but it may be worth a try.

In my opinion, I don't think this would work because you already earn Viz by donating, so to make a prize of Viz when you are already earning Viz is kinda redundant. Also, I'm not sure if it really looks good to make "donations" as a competition method.

I dunno if it would make a good contest, but maybe the Viz amount needs to be increased for donations.

With all the inflation, I do think that the Viz rate needs to be increased, but as for a contest, we already have one really, its called the Most Generous User Award, given to the three users who donate the most at the end of the year.

And from just my experience, If I donated to the site. I'd take guaranteed Viz for my money's worth, over a slight chance in a contest.

Not to mention not everybody is loaded with cash to donate.
