   I've been here for a while playing video games but I don't think I've ever made a newbie post yet. Now is a good time as any  
I grew up playing Legend of Zelda games and this website makes it really easy to relive my past and play some other LoZ games I havent played before!  Not to mention non-LoZ games I've seen on here. There's a few cool one so far like Earthbound and Pokemon Light Platinum I like those!

Anyways I'm going to go play some more games, thanks for reading!

Not many gamers decide to take the step to post, some even don't make a presentation thread (why do I have the feeling someone is staring at me?). Nice to hear that the RGR helped you to discover new games not only for your favorite franchise but for others you didn't even play before.

May I ask how did you discover the site? Maybe trying to search for a place to play a certain LoZ game?

EX Palen : Thanks! I heard about the board by just googling around places to play the LoZ games and it popped up and being familiar with forums I was like "Oh this must be pretty cool!" And it had a LOT more games than I thought it would so that was an awesome surprise!

play4fun : I really prefer the older ones. As the newer ones are more pretty, I find them harder to navigate. And while that could give you a sense of exploration I find it more confusing. I liked the original style of the LoZ games. 

Other than LoZ, I really liked a few Pokemon games growing up and the gamecube version Animal Crossing as of recently! I also tried to play Megaman, but I was really bad at it. :x

Welcome to the board. I started out playing games too, then I started watching the forums and eventually started posting a few years later. Although I never did bother to make a newbie thread. On another note concerning Megaman, I used to be terrible at it too. But I kept playing for nostalgia's sake, didn't take long to actually figured out what I needed to do to not die.
