Jordanv78 : I've actually only had 2 games this year where I had a lot of turnovers and in those 2 games, luck was definitely against me because some crazy things happened to me. I really wish this game depended less on luck. If it was up to me, I'd make it so that fumbles happened a lot less, like 5 times less. Interceptions I'm fine with though since a lot of the time it's the players fault. Then there are users like me who are good at manually picking it off.

Davideo7 : Yeah I don't usually have a problem with the interceptions. I mean sometimes it seems like you should pick it off when you don't, but other than that it's not a huge deal.

What is lame is after a long run when your player randomly fumbles, or when a fumble goes out of bounds but it still lets the other team recover it (although that's a flaw in the game mechanics so I'm not sure what could be done there) But certainly the fumbles seem to be more of a problem overall this year. I'm like you it would be nice if fumbles were a lot more rare.

Jordanv78 : I don't mean to continue to sandwich post but this is a somewhat important discussion and my post will also offer advice to others.



Tips on avoiding fumbles:
-Try to run near the sideline so that when you do fumble it, the ball goes out.
-I'm pretty sure when someone dives at you, your chances of fumbling it are greater (of course when a player dives, it takes them a while to get back up if they miss)
-If fumbling is an issue, try to pass more and run less
-Pay attention to Ball Control (more info on that below)

Ball Control:
Ball Control determines how often a player will fumble it (50 seems to be the average). The higher the number, the less likely. For some reason some players don't display a Ball Control stat so I'm not sure how you can figure out what their fumble probability is.

You have the ability of swapping which players are used and some plays utilize different players so use that to your advantage when selecting plays. Below are 2 examples of players with different ball control stats (some of the best players don't always have the best ball control).

Yeah I mean I understand regarding the different stats and teams and whatnot. The issue I'm having is that this years hack seems to take into consideration less about who is actually playing than in past years (as I've had this result with several teams)

So either there's more of an issue with it this year or I've just been having the worst luck I've ever seen in my many years of playing different versions of this game.

Davideo7 : Fine, if me dropping out would cause that many problems, I'll keep competing. I would've never considered doing it if it hadn't been for all the fumbling crap. I'll try what you suggested and see if it helps.

gamerforlifeforever2 : 7 out of the 12 players will advance to the playoffs so you're chances are still pretty good. Also, the winner of each division is guaranteed a playoff spot and you're leading your division right now so because of that, you're chances are really good.

gamerforlifeforever2 : Seed order is based on overall record but winning your division does guarantee you a playoff spot. I'm pretty sure that's the way I did it last year and the previous years.

Lynchcats : Yeah a lot of Tecmo Super Bowl 2016 matchups are usually 1 sided. It's kinda rare to seem really close games but when you do get a close matchup, they're pretty epic.
