I haven't played any Vita games outside of MLB 14 The Show for a really long time and wanted to pick out a few new games but every time I'm at GameStop, none of the games really look that interesting. I just got BlazBlue recently and I hear Freedom Wars is pretty cool but id like a few suggestions on what I should try out.

I also have Persona 4 Golden and Final Fantasy X, and I had Uncharted, The Walking Dead, and Battle Royale before.

A high score won't necessarily mean you'll love the game, but poking around reviews on the site can be a good way to judge interest and quality.  A few games I might not recommend:

1.  Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate: HD.  PMU is often in Steam bundles.  It's a great game, but when you can get it for under $1 for Steam, it's probably not worth picking it up for Vita unless you downright love the game to pieces.

2.  Rayman Origins: My understanding is that there's no multiplayer.  Rayman is best experienced with buds and multiple controllers, imo.  However, that said, the series does platforming better than Mario in some regards imo.  Plus Legends has a lot of Origins' content, albeit in a different form.  I suggest skipping Origins and buying Legends, unless you plan on playing with friends, and in that case, perhaps buy a console or Uplay version of the game.

zanderlex : Well I don't have a PS Vita sadly, but I thought I could help somehow for your predicament. As you might want to check on websites that summarize or give you insight to what PS Vita has to offer as games in that system.  I checked Wikipedia and they sure have a lot of PS Vita games listed in their database, so you could start there and do research on each game that sounds interesting to you if you wanted to do that.

I am getting a ps vita along with Eirinn in a couple of weeks. 2 games that I have already purchased and are on the way are Freedom Wars and Gravity Rush. You should check Gravity Rush out

Idk any "good" vita games since their really arent many but if you travel a lot and nedd your gaming fix i do recommend:

Also keep in mind you can download many PS1 and PSP games off the PSN store.
I dont really use my vita i only use it for PS4 and to play certain PS1 games

If you're a PS Plus subscriber then you should have noticed that one of the free games for this month was Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions. This is an enjoyable game with about 5 or 6 different game modes and it's a perfect game to turn to if you have nothing else to play on your Vita.

Another good Vita game is Spy Hunter. It was released back in 2012 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its initial birth and if you ever played the original back in the 80s or 90s, then you will enjoy the familiarity. Would have been epic if they also included the original top-down version of the game with the new release but sadly they did not Still a good buy though. I know that the game is available as a physical hard copy but it was pretty tough for me to find so I just downloaded the digital version.

I can vouch for CoD Black Ops Declassified as well. The gameplay can be a little glitchy at times ( especially when you play Hostiles game mode ) but the cinematic cut scenes were fantastic. The storyline was a little different and didn't really fall into place anywhere with the original story but you see some familiar faces.
