Anyone trying to register over the past few weeks or months may not have been getting a verification email due to vizzed.com being placed on the blacklist of various email providers including hotmail. I've now updated the registration script to send out 2 emails when a user signs up, 1 from vizzed.com and 1 from vizzed.net. This helps to make sure that those who sign up get at least 1 of the emails.

If you have any questions or know of anyone who is still having troubles, please let me know here.

I never knew about this issue happening since I haven't referred anyone to vizzed yet. I was thinking about referring at least one of my friends here someday so I'm glad I saw this thread. If they ask me about getting 2 vizzed sign-up emails I'll be able to explain it to them!

Thank you for fixing this problem, David. I've seen some angry comments about the issue on the Vizzed Facebook page. They might think bad about Vizzed now but I hope their mind changes after registering and playing a lot of awesome retro games!

Hmm, this is interesting. I haven't got any complaints personally to me about this but I will keep on the look out for any other complaints concerning this. I hope users don't think vizzed is bad or something because of the blackmail list thing.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.

We prioritize the community over the site profits.  This is why we avoid using annoying (but high paying) ads like most other sites which include popups, obnoxious sounds and animations, malware, and other forms of intrusiveness.  We'll do our part to never resort to these types of ads, please do your part by helping support this site by adding Vizzed.com to your ad blocking whitelist.
