Djinn8345 (aka lilwildwolf) and I are childhood friends but he moved pretty far away a few years ago so we haven't seen each other since. He's coming back down to our childhood town (where I still live) this week so we thought it'd be fun for him to come over to my house and play some local multiplayer games and stream ourselves doing so. He'll also be bringing his cousin Foxyman1113 with to join in on the fun and this will be the first time him and I have ever met in person.


We'll be mainly focusing on local multiplayer games that vizzed doesn't support netplay on to take advantage of the fact that we'll all be hanging out in real life. Systems will include the Sega Saturn and the Sega Dreamcast and games will include Saturn Bomberman and others. I have the VGA Box for my Dreamcast and I also have a SCART cable and adapter for my Saturn so I'll be able play and output those in HD. It should be a fun time so I recommend that everyone try and tune in if possible. I'm not sure how long the stream will be but most likely around 2 hours.

If I did the math well, that's 9 PM here. Maybe I can be there when it starts, and for the first half an hour or so before going to dinner. Don't know if I'll make it back in time to tune in again.

Any chances this might get uploaded to Youtube, so I have a guarantee I can watch the full video?

What time zone is 2PM in? I don't think you specified a timezone.

Well, made some calculations for timezone differences, and I should hopefully wake up for at least the final quarter of the stream. Looking forward to it.

Sebrex : As I mentioned to EX Palen, I'll be uploading the stream to my personal YouTube channel sometime after the stream. I'm also most likely going to make special edits that wont be seen in the actual stream. For example, not only will we be on webcam but I might also record us using my very nice video camera. The video camera doesn't have streaming capabilities but what I can do is add the video from the video camera to the archived stream so that anyone who watches the YouTube channel gets a 2nd and better view of us gaming.

This looks like it was a lot of fun! I'm sorry I missed out on the event when it was live. I was really hoping to be there, but that weekend turned out to be super busy for me.

Jordanv78 : Yeah it was a lot of fun. We had a lot of technical difficulties as to why we only ended up playing Xbox One games since the Xbox One's built in streaming was a quick and easy alternate to what we had planned on doing.

Davideo7 : Yeah, I was kinda wondering why you didn't play many retro games. Either way, it was a lot of fun watching you guys have a blast playing games together.

Jordanv78 : Yeap we had Saturn Bomberman lined up and a few Dreamcast games like Gauntlet and Power Stone 2. We did end up playing Saturn Bomberman after the stream because I was really excited to finally play it with some other people and to also finally show it off to those guys. If I hadn't been so busy with the site lately, I probably would've had more time to prepare for the stream in order to reduce the technical difficulties that came up.

Man, the stream was awesome!! Even though I'm more a Playstation gamer, I must say Geometry Wars got my interest. Looked like a funny game to try out, if it was multi-platform and went to PS3 or PS4 I would definitely get it.

Peggle 2 also looked overly funny to play, with all those bounces, trick shots and misses. I've never been a friend of shooters like Halo or Battlefield, so I'll leave it here.

I was growing worried since I was able to be online at 2:30, but no one showed up and the stream didn't start for a while. After dinner, I saw the stream was shortened, and it already ended. I didn't know you had those issues with the Sega consoles, they would better fit the theme of Vizzed for sure, but let's be honest, this was also incredibly funny to watch, and surely a lot more funny to play.

If the newest generation of consoles has built in streaming option, coupled with how the PS4 enables your friends to play online a game they don't own but you do, I think that I'll join the streaming community in 2016.

EX Palen : The first 2 Geometery Wars games were Xbox exclusive but the 3rd is actually on the PS3 and PS4.

Foxy has never been a fan of Halo either but I think he actually did have some fun playing it. We played some modes which helped even the playing field which included Swords and Infection.
