   Although the 2ds is probably more durable system-wise, the lack of screen protection when not in use kind of stinks. The clampshell design I think is just more comfortable, and more portable as well, making even the 3ds xl easier to move around than the 2ds. The price of the 2ds is way nicer, and at least talking original modeled 3ds', the loss of 3d isn't even that big of a deal for me. But I'd still take the 3ds over the 2ds.

I prefer the 2ds over the 3ds, because sometimes the 3-D on a 3ds is hard to see, and also what about the people who can't use it because it might be dangerous, it is also cheaper to make it a better deal, and I kind of find it cool that it does not fold unlike most other people

I would have to go with 2ds. I get it people like 3d. But honestly I would pay less to play the same games at the cost of not being able to close the screen. Well the screen not cl0oosing is also a plus side because on the 3ds the hinges that hold the top screen and bottom screen can break nit with the 2ds. Plus the 2ds is really sturdy unlike the 3ds.. Although the 2ds has a very breakable screen but that can be fixed. So all in all I would have to go with 2ds.

So, the 2DS is almost exactly the same, I had to get it because we didn't have the money for a 3ds. First, I don't like the design of the 2ds,  not as much as 3DS anyway. I wouldn't have used the 3D anyway. I just hate how they're not making a new 2ds so I can get one. Well, that's my opinion, I don't understand why people hate on 2ds so much. Don't knock it til' you try it.

I used to play my brother's 3DS all the time but one time I was out at a used games store and saw a 2DS for 80$ so I decided to buy it (I could have returned it if I didn't like it). It actually surprised me as it was so comfortable to hold. I always found the 3DS kind of uncomfortable to hold as I have fairly big hands XD. I also never really cared too much for the 3D aspect so I don't care that it doesn't have it.
