Are All DS Demos Based on Uses?

So, I still can't get any games for my 2DS, so I had been forced to download all sorts of demos such as Smash Bros, but I noticed that each of them had a limit of how many times that you can play the demo, like 10 or 30.

Are all DS games like this? Based on total uses? Are their some demos that aren't based on uses? And why do they do this unlike the demos for other systems?

Not all are, the Pokemon ORAS demo had unlimited uses but it was also special demo that had limited availability so I'm guessing it was probably an exception.

Basically all the other demos I've seen that are publically available through the Eshop have limited uses, I'd assume it's a way for them to try and get you to buy the full game sooner, which seems kind of stupid in my opinion because you're probably going to end up doing it anyways if you like it since you don't have access to the full game.

Most of the demos I've seen are total usage demos. Although most of them are in the 30 or so range, so certainly enough to get an idea on if you enjoy the game or not.

Jordanv78 : Only one of the games I have seen was actuary 30 though, the majority of them were quite small. Got through the entire demo usage of Nintendogs in just two days.
