It depends on what I'm playing on my WiiU. If I'm playing a wii game I probably won't bother putting in headphones since the gamepad will always be too far away anyway. If I'm playing a WiiU game on my own, then I'll use headphones since no one else likes listening to my games.

IgorBird122 : Indeed. I have learned to appreciate video game music even more that way. Games like Phantasy Star IV have such intricate tracks that can be better-appreciated with headphones. And some when you need to cool down like The Decisive Battle (Final Fantasy V) also sound better when you keep it for yourself.

I didn't do headphones until recently and now that's all I use unless I'm playing games on my personal TV in my room, I feel that it does enhance the experience of the game because then you can just forget all the troubles of the world and just have fun (ya know what you normally do when you play games anyways, but faster this way and better with butter!)

I put them on when I'm sitting downstairs with my laptop, but when I'm alone I don't. The reason? When I first had Skyrim on my laptop, I got jump scared A LOT, even by just my follower jumping up behind me, so I started not putting my headphones on, and sitting a bit further from the screen. I never had this with my playstation haha!

PacmanandMariofan : ya but I have some of those Sony ear buds headphones (I know not really headphones, but hey I cant I cant believe its not butte........... headphones) and I have had them for a long time and they are still GREAT and I know turnips by Dre are cool and all but they look like if you drop them they will break apart so what are you really paying for plastic that can make noise? (or are you paying for butter?)
