Perhaps in the future, there will come a feature which uses the stats of a user. Then you could battle with other users and also increase your stats by buying items (also possible now, but it doesn't have a purpose yet) and by posting a lot to increase your level (also possible now, just like the items).

Additionally, the RPG type items in the item shop are also just for show. The only items that are currently useful are the "Site Store" items.
