Well as I learned as will others once u gain the items that make a system f2p, it turns off the buying, owning, feature for them.
meaning if you were buying them to make a list of games you wanted to play, or replay. Your dreams gone.

my idea is to make a favorite game list, just like or kinda alike what the owned game list is.
so people could add them to the list for various reasons. Like replaying in future, wish listing a game they wanna get in the future.
or games they plan on playing, or maybe a multiplayer they wanna remember.

which myself, i love playing retro games but sometimes you cant always remember a specific game, or specific mod of the game.
which it would be a very helpful feature, just like the owned game feature is.

which also a favorite game list would be viewable via others and they could even use it as suggestions of what to play.

so basicly an idea that can serve multiple purposes.

^w^ which to anyone reading this thankyou, and hopefully it becomes a reality <3 as it would be a great help to us frogetfuls lol

oh, or maybe a recently played list, as that kinda is what the owned list is to some also.

shadowkat092 : To be honest, I don't think this will be a great success and really necessary. It is a little too similar to the Collection feature.

On the boards there are Threads where you can share your favorite game with others. There are even Threads where users ask other users to play this certain game with them. Also when you add a game to your Collection you can put additional details like for example: ''this is my favorite game'', ''I don't want to play online''.

Of course this is just my opinion. Perhaps other users think this will be a great idea. Thanks for your suggestion.

TornadoMudkip :
well the idea was more of for a list of games for the one making the list, then for others.
which i am guessing there are many like myself who have too many favorite games that they would like to play or replay.
which tried making a notepad years ago, got kinda hectic as it grew longer and longer.

which the side idea of using others games they played or plan on playing, its basicly u see a friend playing a game and go hey id like to try that, or u read it in there past played games.
happened to me yesterday actually saw a game a friend was playing and now i plan on trying it ^w^
as its one of the few rpgs on older consoles that slipped my view.

also isnt the collection feature for games you already own rl or digital? or is it for something else? as if its what im thinking of, you could always mark it off as owned digital correct?
which that could help, other then for some rather marking off games they own.

which if the suggestion falls thru the crack there is always the old way of making notepads of each system, which can be a pain in the butt even more so if u use multiple pcs. like one day your on a laptop and next day a desktop.

the whole suggestion idea is just making it easier for people to keep track of games they wanna play, or rebeat without a on pc list, as those lists can be lost, or not really helpful if on a different pc.
as being able to view a list on here, which even others could view would be a nifty thing.

^w^ which thank you for the opinion and reply, i speak of this from past experience lol, at one point even had listed them via a notebook.
so i know all too well how tough it can be keeping track of lists of games when you love so many retro games <3

I actually like this idea.
The collection adds all the games you play. So it doesn't really show which ones you necessarily even like.
It would definitely make finding games in your collection at lot easier.

It could also promote some lesser known games if you see it favored on your friends' lists and you've never played it before.

I really like this idea, and as long as people don't add every single game to their favorites list, it could be really cool. It would allow others to know what games you like, and will let you get some games to play when you are bored.

It would be pretty sweet to have this actually work.

Thank you for the replys and opinions everyone.
an idea I can give for now is to go thru the multiplayer tab and make a list of games you'd like to try with others. There is over 300 pages but you can set it to specific systems.
which there is also rpg tabs and various other ones.
which, whenever this idea is implemented if ever is, it will save people time as they wont have to make lists.
or post around a list to share with friends as the public eye will be able to view the various things they have played <3

I myself have began making a list of retro multiplayers, so I can share it with others.
but also so I can remember the various retro classics I want to play, replay, share with others.
and of course play multiplayer in <3
which list is mainly snes, nes, Sega gen, and the various other retro systems.
as gba netplay, n64 netplay, and psx netplay. not sure if they work all too well.
ive been told n64 netplay works sometimes. ps1 u need good speed. and gba havent heard anything of.

which ill more then likely share the list once im done but still 300 pages left to go i think.
which sadly some of the series are so large ive only named the keywords, like double dragon, or rampage.
but yeah, hopefully it will help others find these hidden gems, most of which ive played already myself, so i can happily suggest a good majority of them with the community.

which myself im use to making game lists, done it many times before and i will say it is time consuming and never ending.
which if said list isnt on the pc your on at the time its useless. same as if u ever lose the file somehow.
i myself am only online via 1 pc, so im speaking for others more so about the multiple pc.

glad i met you all, your all great people. which im glad to be part of a great retro gaming community <3
