So let's say Bob just uploaded an avatar picture that is more than 200 pixels. Then Bob makes a 1000 word bio, and then he presses Submit.

It tells him that his avatar is more than too pixels. Poor little Bob wonders if it saved his bio, so he checks. It did not. He rages and throws himself down the stairs.

The point here is, please make Bob and I happy by if something doesn't make the restrictions, save everything else that does meet the restrictions. It would save a lot of hassle and make things a lot easier for new members that made a big bio with an invalid picture, etc.

Thanks for considering this. If you agree, please post here!

This is exactly why I don't edit multiple things at once.
Could be an idea for the future, but I think it'll take a while before David will start to work on it.

Like reviews and game guides, something you could do is save your new bio in a document before submitting it. That way you can just copy it if something goes wrong.

Similar to what Furret said below, I would advise writing these things in a word/txt doc first. That way if something happens (IE site crash) You have a backup. We tell people writing long reviews and Walkthroughs something similar.

Sadly, this sort of thing is common with this type of Forum software. It's kinda old school and doesn't have the same features that newer software programs like Google Drive has. Honestly, I think it's pretty rare for any site to have auto-saving profile edits.

I cannot add a lot more than Jordan and Furret said, for now there is not much you can do besides copying the words in Word for example. I lost reviews and posts by not doing this and that really sucks, so when I think my post is in danger I copy it.

As for the picture resize thing, this site has helped me a lot: http://www.picresize.com/

Since this question seems to be fully answered, I'm going to go ahead and close it to make sure that people don't spam the same reply over and over again during the TdV.

Please feel free to PM me if you have further questions/comments regarding this issue.
