On Wednesday I went to Summerstage to see Lindsey Stirling perform, I was already really excited about it but the show was so much better than I thought it would be and once I can get my phone working again ill be putting up some pictures.
I'm a huge fan of Stirling so I was really eager to see this,I got to the place 15 minutes before the gates even opened so there was about 1000 people on line but I was in luck. Most people went in the middle to sit on the grass, in the back to the bleachers or for food. Nobody wanted to stand so I went right up to the 2nd row behind the rail.
The entire show was about 3 hours and a full 160 minutes of it was music. The show started with Olivia Somerlyn doing a few songs and then Karmin doing a few songs, both of them I never heard of until then and they were both amazing. Then Lindsey came up and was awesome. She did at least 20 songs which included a mash up of covers for Halo, Assassins Creed, Zelda, and Skyrim.
Most of the songs I didn't know since I was still new to her and she played a few that I knew and they were all epic. Most of her videos are insane because of the graphics they use and the show was even better, there were screens all over with amazing effects and illusions, and it was Loud. During the final 2 songs, hundreds of fireworks were lit up over central park to make the entire night spectacular.
The night got even better after all that, at the end about 99 percent of the 5k plus people left, leaving only about 20 people on the ling to meet Olivia, including me. I would have loved to meet Lindsey but Olivia was just as great and u started to listen to her music recently. I got a picture with her and a signed card, and she follows me on Twitter now.
Overall, I would pretty say that this day was easily one of the 5 best days of my life. It was already the best concert I have ever gone to out of many and the day itself was just amazing.
