Chapter 5 They’re hunting

The grunts came outside.

“And, where was she?” Patrick asked.

“I’m sorry sir, she seems to be traveling, but the mother is captured.” Tim said.

“Hmm, smart move, those 2 sure know how to make it hard for us.” Patrick said.

“It sure is, she did say something about Rikaru town.” Susan said.

“Well send a few grunts there.” Patrick said.

“Yes sir.” Susan said.

Meanwhile.

Luna and Elric were walking through the same forest.

“When are we there exactly?” Luna asked.

“If my map is correct, tomorrow.” Elric said.

“That’s good, hope we don’t get lost.” Luna said.

“Yeah, but I’ll check if there are any Pokemon I can catch.” Elric said.

“I’ll look around as well, I also want a few new Pokemon.” Luna said.

"Well good luck.” Elric said.

They walked further until they came by a pond.

“Hey look, a Poliwag, I’m going to catch it.” Luna said.

“Do your best, don’t knock it out.” Elric said.

“Thanks, okay go Pikachu.” Luna said.

“Pol?” Poliwag said.

“Alright let’s begin, Pikachu tail whip.” Luna said.

Poliwags defence was dropped.

Poliwag hit Pikachu with an water gun.

“Pikachu use quick attack.” Luna said.

Pikachu hit Poliwag.

“Now use thundershock.” Luna said.

Poliwag dodged.

Poliwag hit Pikachu with pound and then with bubble.

“I can’t lose, not again.” Luna thought.

Pikachu looked worried at Luna.

Poliwag hit Pikachu with another bubble.

“You’re too stressed, your Pokemon can sense your emotions and Pikachu can sense your too worried, focus more on the battle and less on the outcome.” Elric said.

“More on the battle?” Luna said.

Elric nodded and jumped on a tree.

Luna nodded.

“Alright Pikachu, let’s go.” Luna said.

“Pika.” Pikachu said.

Poliwag used water gun.

“Pikachu dodge.” Luna said.

Pikachu dodged.

“Great, now use thundershock followed up by quick attack.” Luna said.

Pikachu hit Poliwag both times.

“Use quick attack again.” Luna said.

Pikachu hit Poliwag.

“Pokeball go.” Luna said.

The pokeball sealed Poliwag inside and began shaking.

Poliwag broke out of the pokeball.

“What, okay, let’s continue this.” Luna said.

Poliwag hit Pikachu with a water gun.

“Pikachu use thundershock.” Luna said.

Poliwag dodged.

“Quick attack now.” Luna said.

Pikachu hit Poliwag.

Poliwag hit Pikachu with bubble.

“Pikachu use thundershock on yourself too power your quick attack.” Luna said.

Pikachu used thundershock and then hit Poliwag with quick attack.

Poliwag hit Pikachu with pound.

“Pikachu finish this, thundershock.” Luna said.

Pikachu hit Poliwag.

“Pokeball go.” Luna said as she threw the pokeball.

The pokeball sealed Poliwag inside and started to shake.

Everyone was silent.

The pokeball stopped shaking and Poliwag was caught.

“Alright I did it, good job Pikachu.” Luna said.

“Great, that was an good battle and an good catch, see, you can do it if you believe.” Elric said.

“Thanks Elric, and thanks for the advice.” Luna said.

“No problem.” Elric said.

They continued walking.

“Hey Susan, here they are.” A voice said.

“Those 2 are back for more punishment it seems.” Elric said.

“Now we can fight them, and win from the start.” Luna said.

Tim and Susan appeared from some bushes.

“Hey princess, how is your bodyguard, grown tired of him yet?” Tim said.

“How about we save the pointless talk and start the fight.” Luna said.

“Ahh, we wanted to talk to you some more, about why fire types are weak against grass types, why rock types hate water, and how your mother was captured.” Susan said.

“Wait, what did you say about my mother.” Luna said in fear.

“Oh we found the place she was hiding, we went over and killed everyone inside of it, just like our usual fights.” Tim said.

“N-no, y-you’re l-lying.” Luna said.

“Why would we dear, should we show you the video where we defeated her.” Susan said.

“N-no.” Luna said as she dropped to her knees.

“Scraggy, don’t lose this time.” Tim said.

“Go ahead, take revenge Misdreavus.” Susan said.

“Fletchling come on out, you have to go to, Electrike.” Elric said.

“No Elric, let me do this alone.” Luna said.

“Alright, you get to try first, I’ll hear it when I need to take over.” Elric said.

“Pikachu go, and come out Poliwag.” Luna said.

“Hahaha, you have a second Pokemon, do you think the fight will be any different, you really intend on fighting us.” Tim said.

“I won’t fight you, I’ll defeat you, Pikachu use thundershock on Scraggy, Poliwag use water gun on Misdreavus.” Luna said.

Both attacks hit their respective targets.

“Scraggy use Brick break on Poliwag.” Tim said.

Scraggy hit Poliwag.

“Misdreavus use shadow ball on Pikachu.” Susan said.

“Pikachu dodge and then use thundershock on both of them.” Luna said.

Pikachu dodged and hit them both.

“Now Poliwag use bubble on both of them.” Luna said.

Poliwag hit them both.

“Scraggy use hi jump kick on Pikachu and follow it up with an dragon pulse.” Tim said.

Both attacks hit Pikachu.

“Misdreavus use psybeam on Poliwag and follow it up with an magical leaf.” Susan said.

Both attacks hit Poliwag.

“Poliwag use water gun on Scraggy, Pikachu use thundershock on Scraggy. Luna said.

Both attacks hit Scraggy.

“Now then Pikachu use quick attack, Poliwag use pound.” Luna said.

Both attacks hit Scraggy, fainting him.

“Now you’re getting pathetic.” Tim said as he returned Scraggy.

“Misdreavus use psybeam.” Susan said.

The psybeam hit both opponents.

“Pikachu use thundershock, Poliwag use bubble.” Luna said.

Both attacks hit Misdreavus.

Poliwag hit Misdreavus with an water gun, fainting her.

“Now time to send them off, Pikachu thundershock one last time, Poliwag water gun.” Luna said.

“Electrike use thundershock, Fletchling use razor wind.” Elric said.

All attacks hit Tim and Susan who were send flying.

“Alright, I did it, they’re gone.” Luna said.

“That was an great battle.” Elric said.

“Thanks, but what they said about my mother, did they mean that?” Luna asked.

“I think they’re bluffing, but we can't be sure, now, shall we go on?” Elric said.

“Yeah.” Luna said.

They walked further.
