This month's High Score competition is for ' Alex Kidd in Miracle World' for the Sega Master System. You can play it here:

The point of this competition is to beat the game as fast as you can.


VIDEO REQUIRED: You must must use the RGR Plugin's built in video recording to record the gameplay and then upload that video to the Vizzed YouTube account.

RULES: You MUST play the game using the RGR Plugin in 'Timetrial Mode' and take a screenshot of the ending screen by pressing F6 when you've completed the game. To play in 'Timetrial Mode', scroll down the page where it shows the Speed Runs, you'll see a link that says 'Click Here to Compete for Speed Run', click that. Once you've taken your screenshot, click the link near that one that says 'Click Here to Submit your Speed Run' to submit your speed run.

You cannot cheat or use glitches of any sort.


Prizes:
1st = 25,000 Viz
2nd = 10,000 Viz
3rd = 5,000 Viz

Davideo7 : Nice! This is an interesting game. I'm hoping that I Have the time this month to compete and put in a competitive run. We shall see though. Months always start with the best of intentions, then my free time winds up slipping away from one thing or another ;-)

I don't know what is wrong with me. I keep getting to the last castle in 16 minutes, plenty to spare. But for some reason, I keep making really stupid mistakes on the last 3-4 screens before the last boss fight. If I just stop screwing up on those screens (especially the underwater spike screen), I know I can get this in around 20-21 minutes. I have done this literally 10 times and keep dying there. Not enough time to try again and get a video submitted


Congrats to nguyenminhthien86. I see he played Battletoads today, so I am kind of nervous that he might have beat max score time, and is holding out till we are closer to the end Not like I haven't pulled that trick my fair share of times.
