I am considering in doing a community/site update video every first day of each month so that people can just watch the video to know what is up with the site and the forums, even if the people are gone for a long period of time.

Some of the things that I would consider putting on this monthly video would be the following:
-Top threads and news in the forums for the month
-Results from last month's contests
-Announcing this month's contests
-new features on the site or RGR
-etc

Some needs that I would consider addressing to make this work are:
-People to list out content to put in the video
-Editor
-Voice for narrating
-Graphic designer to design the intro or graphics

For these needs, if there is no one who can do some of it, I can just do this myself, but it would make things easier I get help from it.

I think this is defiantly a good idea. I mean it could catch up people with info about the site who haven't been able to be online as much as some others. One thing you could do for content is maybe pick out a couple of games and have them rated for the month and there be like a 'Favorite game of the month' or something similar to this. Somebody may could play a bit of that game and record it and you can put it in the video. It might draw certain people to trying out that game and rating it. It would also be entertaining for somebody to watch the gameplay, myself included.  Just a thought.

I love this idea. This would expand on Eirinn's console wrap up so much. 

I'd love to volunteer for the narrating position. As long as you have a script, I would take it, I'd be more than willing to do it.

This sounds like it could be a cool idea. I would be willing to volunteer as the Narrator.

In a pinch I could also do some editing work, although I don't have all the editing software that I did a year years back I could still do it if no one else wanted to, but it would be more basic editing.

I know this is not entirely related to this thread.. But it seemed the best place to ask/suggest it... Ever consider doing this in a podcast format... 

Where you and 3 other people can just chat for a couple of hours, once a month on the going ons on vizzed, What games you played.. What you're looking forward to playing.. and basically conversing with others...  It's essentially the same thing your doing now except you basically need a few core topics and let the conversation fly.. and it wouldn't require much editing/ planning to do so...

Everyone, please send me a pm or post on this thread on what are somethings you would like to be mentioned on the Vizzed Community update video of October. I will try to see if I can get the monthly announcements from David as soon as possible, and with some of your inputs, I will make the video for October.

Some things that you could suggest are popular or interesting threads that are popping up, different forum games or forum activities that are happening, and maybe a video game spotlight, summary.

Please have your submissions in before September 30th, and I will make the video together.

I like the whole idea of everything! If you need a backup narrator (do those even exist), I have experience and have high quality microphones (Just got 'em!). I'm on the site every day and could definitely contribute if you have a spot open.

Anyways, I like it. I hope it takes off and does well.
