Chapter 1 a journey begins

It was morning.

A 15 year old boy named Elric woke up.

An Electrike jumped on Elric and began to hug Elric.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m awake.” Elric said while smiling.

Elric had turned Oaks promise of a Pokemon down because he already had one, despite Oaks words that he could pick one whenever he wanted, he didn’t feel the need to travel.

Elric went downstairs and fed Electrike.

Elrics father went downstairs. “Hey Dad, how are you.” Elric said.

“I’m good, and how is my youngest son.” Chaz said.
 
“Great, well I’m off to school.” Elric said.

Elric left.

Elric was on school and was on his way back when he got a headache.

“Argh, what is this.” Elric said.

“Don’t worry young natural.” A voice in Elrics head spoke.

“Who are you, and how do you know that?” Elric thought.

“My name is Dialga, and I speak to you because your help is needed.” Dialga said.

“My help, with what?” Elric said.

“With the protection of your world, you need to go on a journey.” Dialga said.

“Why my help, aren’t there much better trainers out there, like the champion.” Elric said.

“No, they may be better, but you’re an natural.” Dialga said.

“But I don’t want to, besides, I'm sure there are better naturals than me.” Elric said.

“I’m afraid you have no choice, go or your world will be doomed.” Dialga said.

“Alright, I’ll try to go, but what if I can’t.” Elric said.

“I have a solution for that.” Dialga said.

Elric got home and turned on the news.

“And here is the latest news, the elite four has disappeared in the elite forest, no one knows what happened, but whoever did this was very skilled with Pokemon, or one of those evil naturals.” The newsman spoke.

Elric turned the TV off.

“Jelmer, I need to go now, my brother could be in danger.” Elric said.

“You can go on a journey, but don’t worry about Jelmer, they’re probably playing a trick, remember last year?” Chaz said.

“Yeah, you’re probably right, but I’ll still go.” Elric said.

“Good luck my son.” Chaz said.

“Elec, Electrike.” Electrike said.

“Yeah, of course you can go with me.” Elric said as he took Electrike on his shoulder and grabbed Elektrike’s pokeball.

Elric left.

"let’s go to Oaks lab first, then we’ll discuss with him there.” Elric said.

Electrike nodded. Elric walked further.

Meanwhile at another boy's house.

A 10 year old boy named Jos was playing with his computer.

Another 10 year old boy came in.

“What do you want Stan?” Jos said.

“Oh I just needed to say that we are gonna get a Pokemon tomorrow, but we all know that I’ll be way more useful.” Stan said.

“Yeah, sure, whatever you say little boy.” Jos said.

“And I already know what Pokemon I’ll pick, the fire type of course.” Stan said.

“I really don’t care.” Jos said.

Stan left.

The next day.

Jos, Stan and Elric were at Oaks lab.

Oak came in with 3 pokeballs.

“Hello kids, here are the three Pokemon you can choose from, you have the seed Pokemon Balbusaur, the fire mouse Pokemon Cyndaquil or the sea otter Pokemon Oshawott.” Oak said.

“Great, I choose Cyndaquil.” Stan said.

“Actually, since Elric is older, he has the first choice.” Oak said.

“Alright, I choose Balbusaur.” Elric said.

“Alright here, your Pokemon, 5 pokeballs and a pokedex.” Oak said as he gave Elric the things.

“Well now it’s my turn, I pick Cyndaquil.” Stan said.

“And my choice is Oshawott.” Jos said.

Oak gave Jos and Stan the supplies and they accepted it.

Suddenly an 8 year old girl came in.

“Professor Oak, sorry I’m late.” The girl said as she made a slight bow.

“Oh it’s okay Luna, your special Pokemon is in this pokeball.” Oak said.

Oak gave Luna the pokeball along with 5 empty pokeballs and an pokedex.

“Thank you professor Oak.” Luna said.

“Why does Oak give Pokemon to rich families, I mean they have like the money for dozens of Pokemon themselves, so why bother.” Jos whispered.

“Well maybe he wants to be nice to everybody, I respect him for that.” Elric said.

“How did you even hear me.” Jos asked.

“Sensitive ears.” Elric lied.

“Alright.” Jos said.

“Well that’s all, good luck on your journey, and may you accomplish your goals.” Oak said.

Jos and Stan left.

Elric walked away.

“Goodbye professor.” Luna said.

“Goodbye Luna, good luck, and stay away from team Apocalypse, niece.” Oak said.

“Yeah I know, I still have nightmares about them.” Luna said. Luna left.

Elric went into an isolated place and called Balbusaur and Electrike out.

"Balbusaur, Electrike, say hello to each other.” Elric said.

“Trike, Electrike.” Electrike said.

“Balbu, Balbusaur.” Balbusaur said.
 
Meanwhile.

“Okay, come on out, Pikachu.” Luna said as she threw the pokeball.

“Pika, Pika.” Pikachu said.

“Hey Pikachu, I’m your trainer, please bear with me from now on.” Luna said.

Pikachu hugged Luna.

Luna laughed.

“Well well well, look who’s having fun.” A male voice said.

“Yeah, it’s our little princess, her father would be proud if we brought her back home.” A female voice said.

“N-no, n-not y-you g-guys.” Luna said in fear.
