I say the rich man because, as bigfoot192 mentioned, they can't live without it. Well some can, but it's a big culture shock for them and difficult to cope with. Look at the millionaires who killed themselves during the great depression for an example of this.

The poor man on the other hand has been poor before, and so knows how to live like it. He'll be able to recover quickly, and cope with it.

This is why it's actually more advantageous to be born poor. I've been dirt poor and I've been in the place where I have whatever I want. When I became dirt poor again, I didn't have any trouble with it because I knew how to live with it.
