Well every now and then we eat spaghetti or hotdogs, maybe even some sandwiches and you think,,, 'hey what if I add tomatoes?' And your mouth just explode with the taste of a tomato. Nothing can beat the taste of this fruit and nothing will... Except for the avocado,


Point of this thread is to worship the tomato and what meals you like with tomatoes, tomato sauce, ketchup, jelly even if it exists. Spread the word of tomatoes

becerra95 : The are only two times I absolutely love to eat tomatoes. 1) When I am making a Dagwood sandwich. If you don't know what a Dagwood sandwich is it is where you put pretty much every sandwich meat that you have on the sandwich, whatever condiments that you enjoy, the cheese of your choice, and the best ones have bacon and tomato on them. Basically it is the epitome of your perfect sandwich. 2) The other time is when I eat pico de gallo. That stuff is ridiculous on pretty much everything.

Then there is the condiment aspect of the variety of ways tomatoes can be eaten. Ketchup is really good on things like hamburgers and french fries. I personally enjoy mixing ketchup with ranch dressing to make a delicious concoction that makes eating such items as hamburgers and french fries even more amazing.

Very interesting topic by the way. I don't think I would have ever thought to create a thread like this.

A tomato slice makes a great difference in a good sandwich.  And with that, I'm craving Subway.  A chicken bacon ranch sub with lots of ranch and a bit of sriracha is awesome.

Tomatoes are great for hamburgers or just any kind of sandwich mainly. I use ketchup for a lot of stuff. I just ate spaghetti tonight so I used tomato sauce for it of course. Salads are also amazing with tomatoes. Tomatoes are just awesome xP

Tomatoes on their own are absolutely ew for me. I will never have them with ANYTHING.
Things made WITH tomatoes, like sauce, soup, or ketchup however are an entirely different thing.
I love ketchup with pretty much everything, from potatoes, to grilled cheese.
Tomato sauce I tend to just keep on Spaghetti, nothing special there.
and then Tomato soup is well... tomato soup.

Tomatoes are often paired with lettuce in burgers, sandwiches, subs, tacos, salads. Its a solid combination.

Im a fan of tomato soup as well, but you have to add milk or else its only half as good.

Im a bit surprised nobody mentioned putting ketchup on your eggs. Grilled cheese and fries are 2 other common ketchup combos.

Tomato sauce and any sort of pasta seems like a no brainer.

I love tomato on certain pizzas, like a tomato and red pepper pizza (and no, green peppers are not better than red peppers). Also, if you have never tried a margarita pizza (gotta be thin crust), I highly recommend you do so...

I'm actually not a big fan of tomatoes by themselves, unless I've planted them myself or I get them from a farmer's market. Otherwise they just taste super funny to me.

I also love eating ketchup with my eggs(sometimes), french fries, hamburgers, hash browns, potatoes(cubed and preferably), meatloaf(I can't stand the stuff otherwise), and hot dogs.

Then obviously I'm a huge spaghetti eater, but I also like tomato sauce with lasagna, Parmesan Vito, well basically any pastas. I have this really good pasta recipe at home that I love to make.<3

I like sun dried tomato on my pizza, and then the tomato sauce on pizza as well-though I actually prefer alfredo. 
And..yeah that's it haha.
