Have you ever got lost somewhere and did not know where you were? To some it is their biggest fear to others a mere walk in the park of discovery.

What about you?

This has never happened to me, I'm literally the most knowledgeable person anyone I know knows when it comes to directions. I know all of NYC so well that when I go on trips with my agency, I ask for the adress before we leave and I don't even have to look at the addresses on any building, we get off the train and I know where to turn, how far to go, etc.

There was one time in senior year of high school where I couldn't afford to go on a trip, yet the school actually paid me to go on the condition that I would stay after the trip and tell people who weren't driven where to go.

My agency once went on a trip to Texas for a college tour, and we left Austin and drove a bit to a college and when we left, I knew right away that we were now driving towards San Antonio, not back to Austin. I thought it was funny so I told them like 5 minutes later.

Once I go somewhere for the first time, I should have known how to get there, and within a few minutes and I have the whole area etches into my mind for years and its impossible to get lost.

I went to this really cool KMART when I was like 6 years old, but we never went back for years. When I was about 12, I went back with my family, but apparently they couldn't remember going to that one ever. I kept asking if it was the one by this, this, and that, and they didn't know, I didn't remember how to get there, you know, since I was 6, but I remember where the train station was, how far we had to walk, of course I remember the toys r us.

I really don't mind loosing my way MOST of the time. I think it's wise that if you don't know how to get to where you are going, give yourself a lot of time to get there. Loosing your way and finding it again sometimes lead you to unexpected places/events, which I find, for the most part, enjoyable.

Ah, I have never personally got lost because I still haven't even got my permit yet but I have been in the car with people before who get lost and it's a very scary feeling for me. We always eventually find our way but I always think if that was me I would end up all the way in the middle of no where and I wouldn't be able to get back home. Yes it would be adventurous but if you are trying to get someplace at a certain time or are trying to get home in the dark its just not a good feeling.

Oh yes, many times. Finding my way to places isn't my strong suit, especially if the directions are a little off. I love to drive, but have been taking a hiatus from it for a while due to this and other problems. I'll probably get back to it sometime, but I've gotta practice a bit before I try longer trips.

I lpve getting lost it is half the fun of the journey. But seriously i was always good at just going out and having a destination in mind and the knowledge of getting there but taking a diffrent route  that is unknown to get there. Now its hard to get lost with all these gsp systems and smartphones (which I still don't use unless i'm in a big pinch). Yes I will suck up my pride once in a while and ask for a little assistance because i just can't find my way but it is all just part of the fun that goes with it

I've been stranded in Cities that I've never been in before because I've had seizures at dodge ball tournaments and that is a horrible experience... Luckily it's only happened a couple of times where my team has had to abandon me there because they have arrangements such as work that they need to get to.. I don't blame them for that... It's just very expensive at time.. It's why I try to keep a decent amount of money on me at all times but... obviously that can lead to other problems such as having a seizure and being robbed whilst I'm unconscious

Besides that I've never been lost... If you go into an area that you have no previous knowledge are most people are at least wary of which way they traveled.. Plus with the population of the world today.. You're pretty much never that far.. From a person.. Not in England Anyways. I know it's different for America

Sadly,
1. I never been there
2. I do not know the way
3. I haven't been anywhere near there.

As a child, I was scared to death when I got lost at the State Fair of Texas. I cried so much but never really panicked as I tried finding my parents, but then that's what happens when a child asks to discover something and gets so wrapped up in curiosity that he forgets where his parents are. But when my parents found me, they never once said "see what happens when you wander off like that?" They said nothing, as that's how they were, letting life teach me lessons and only interfering when they needed to.
