I tried joining a Netplay session of a Japanese sonic game for the MAME, but, where it usually displayed "ROM loaded", this happened:


Attempting to connect to server, Failed to connect to server, Attempting to connect to server, Failed to connect to server, Etc.

It did this several times, but never joined the session. Could someone help or share how they fixed this problem?

Ah. That might be the issue.

See if allowing an exception for vizzed.com and vizzed.co solves it.

You might have to allow the netplay ports, but I don't recall them offhand.

Actually, i think the issue resolved itself. I tried joining a netplay session just as all the people were leaving (turns out one was Twitching. Awkward, huh?) and i managed to join. maybe its just an issue with Japanese games, since this was also a game for the MAME.
