So I began 2015 with a repeat of 2013. Breaking my wrist. Only this time, it required surgery. A metal disc implanted onto the underside of my radius. 6 pins to hold it in place. I may not be able to acquire full mobility of my wrist, and I also might have to get the disc removed. I'm sick of getting poked and prodded with needles. Is anyone else going through something of this nature? Better or worse? By all means, feel free to share below.

I know this is kind or an old post, but I had a similar situation when I broke my clavicle a number of years ago.

I broke it while riding my dirt bike and it was a pain (literally) to get it fixed. I didn't re-injure it like you but I had to go see multiple doctors because of the way it broke. They tried to reset it by pulling along the length but they couldn't get it.

Then I had to see several doctors about how it would heal and such. That is when I starting feeling like when will this ever end. Long story short it really kinda messed up my skeletal structure for a long while and threw some other things out of place as well. The good thing is that after a while everything seemed to correct itself. The human body is amazing at what it can recover from so just hang in there.

I also had a past injury back in 2009. If I remember, I happened of fell from a high place (like 15-20 feet), and only landed on my right leg and caused to break my right calf bone, and I have been injured for a good month, being injured does suck. When you have to walk on crunches for that amount of time and you can't do much of anything.

Over that whole month, my mother had to take me back and fourth from the doctor, and he gave me all the medications to heal myself and took my time for my injury to healed and took my right leg raspy for another couple of years so it doesn't get re-injured again.

I broke my arm a couple of years ago playing football practice. The time that it take to recover wasn't pleasant.

Ah, being hurt suck! But whenever I get hurt, I think about how great it is that I don't have to strap my limb to a piece or wood, and have nothing but whiskey to dull the pain. Even only 100 years ago getting hurt would of been a LOT less pleasant than it now... if that makes any sense.
