I have downloaded an installed the retro game room, and have closed and reopened my web browser. Yet I'm getting the "no plugin detected" message when I try to load a game. I'm running Windows 8.1, which may be an issue - though the plugin did work for me on windows 8. Any suggestions?

Interesting. I'm having similar issues and I was about to address them. I'm on Windows 7 and it worked before, but for some reason today it isn't working.

I checked if the plugin was allowed, and on my computer. both my chrome and my computer say it's there... I don't want to uninstall it cause I'm afraid I'll lose all the info, but that's all that's left on the list. I've done everything else...

but if your using Chrome. Try checking if the plugin is allowed. go to the little button right from the star. click settings. scroll down and click advanced settings. Under privacy click Content settings. Scroll down to plugins. Make sure it says Allow all plugins, and then select manage exceptions. Make sure Vizzed.com is there and it says allowed.

Try this if you are using Google Chrome. Type in chrome://flags/#enable-npapi and enable npapi. Next you need to look at the bottom left of the screen. Click restart or re launch browser. Should work fine after that. DO NOT CLOSE THE BROWSER FIRST. You need to click that button.
