Welcome back to another thready theory of Fnaf 3! This time, we will talk about its ending. After completing Nightmare mode (Or should I say, Night 6), you receive a newspaper, saying that Freddy's Horror Attraction has burnt down. Now, the question is, who caused the fire? There are multiple theories about that, and it is still unconfirmed about who caused it.

Perhaps it was Spring Trap. Want proof? Brighten up the newspaper, and you'll see Spring Trap's face next to the Freddy Fazbear figurine. It is unknown if he caused the fire, or did he even survive. But, Spring Trap is a likely candidate.

Another theory that I have is that the player him/herself caused the fire. Why would he/she do that? He/She could have done it because he/she had enough of the history behind Freddy's, so he/she wanted that to end for good.

So, who caused the fire? Spring Trap, the player, or another person? It is still unconfirmed, remember.

What I think is that it was actually the vintage stuff they had at the attraction. For example, Phone Dude says "...we got a fan, metal though, watch the fingers..." and "..yeah I wasn't kidding about the fire. That's a real risk...." as well as "...yeah with all the vintage stuff we got we may have overdone it a bit..." This could suggest that either the vintage objects they had inside caused the fire, or the systems failed and a fire started. But, we may never know until Scott tells us.

LunarDarkness2 :  Yeah, it could be. But, why Spring Trap appears on the newspaper next to the Freddy figurine?

greenluigi : Like you said in your original post, it could be indicating that he survived the fire somehow. After all, "He always comes back" doesn't he? x3

LunarDarkness2 : OH YEAH!!! We're slowly solving mysteries in the Fnaf history, right? He already appeared on Five nights at Freddy's 2. Or, maybe Spring Trap himself caused the fire. Who knows.
