We all watched movies and most movies have a conflict and resolution a hero and a villain. My question is have any of those movies affected your life now in any way? such as way you handle certain situation all around general thinking. As of right now, not really. The only thing that I find affects my life at the moment is my friends, my family, and video games. These three things have helped me through many tough times and still do today, but movies just haven't done that for me yet. Maybe one day there will be a movie that will?

I can't really think of any movie that influence the way I live my life.

However, the original Star Wars trilogy was what convinced me to watch more movies in English. The translation was absolutely terrible: Darth Vader had a muffled voice in a New Hope and didn't sound as menacing; the Empire's weapon was translated Étoile Noire (but it was corrected to "de la mort" in subsequent episodes; Han Solo's ship was referred to as "Millennium Condor" (with a French accent)... UGH!

One movie that truly affected me (unfortunately in some respects) was "Fast Times at Ridgemont High". I based a lot of my thinking and attitudes back then based on what I saw and thought was cool in that movie particularly. Don't get me wrong, I love the movie and recommend it, but I don't think I should have been allowed to watch it unsupervised maybe when I was ten years old. Then there's also Star Wars. You might know it as Episode 4 or some other nonsense. On the new movie I'm still kind of torn on them bring Boba Fett back. Part of his mystique was always that he got killed. Even though I remember they brought him back from the Sarlacc in the comics when I was just a kid still. (a few years back) Dengar was the coolest bounty hunter anyways.

The James Bond movies I think influenced me a lot in terms of what a "modern gentlemen" is like. Most movies I always just watched for entertainment's sake, but the James Bond movies are one of the few that I think actually effected my life.

Oh, and school of rock always motivates my to play music again, so I guess you could say that influences my life, hehe.

The first Spider-Man movie did. It was my first introduction to my now favourite superhero. Uncle Ben's classic saying "With great power comes great responsibility" has had so much meaning for me. It has helped me form myself throughout my childhood, into the person I am today. And it's all because of a superhero movie. Go figure.
