What do you do for a living and why did you choose said career. I'm a dog groomer and I changed my career choice many times before I choose grooming. I hated my first job and going to school. I needed something different. After taking my dog Leah in for a bath I got curious did some research. The week later I walked into the salon and told the owner I was intrested in grooming and would like to talk to the groomer and volunteer. After my first day I fell in love. Called my parents on my way home and told them. I found what I want to do with my life. I want to be a groomer. Than quit my job after the salon hired me and finished my sedmester in college. Beginning the journey. So? How did you come about finding your dream job?

That's a cool job...my wife also used to be a dog groomer, but she kept getting bit so she quit because she is the assistant GM of a bowling alley.

Speaking of which, that's what I do for a living...I'm the manager of a pro shop inside a bowling alley. I've been doing this for the past 3 years, and I really can't believe I didn't try to do this sooner. My whole life I have been bowling in tournaments and leagues. A bowling alley is practically my second home, so why not work inside this "home?" Well, I do now.

However, the bowling alley I work in is about to close down at the end of April. They are closing to do some remodeling and they will open back up in January. Let me tell you, I already cannot wait for next January!

I don't have an actual go out and do stuff job now, and I probably won't get one of those for a while but I'm also a journalist, specifically a mix of game video games and sports as a specialization.

Journalism is something I could do as a career, especially in sports but only as a second option behind what I'm studying for which is Sports Business.

For what I do now, I write news articles for various Official journalism sites and I love writing obviously so that makes it fun and when I combine that with my favorite topics, it's even better.

Although I am "just" interning, I'm writing for an Internet blog and I love it. I've "known" since college I wanted to be a reporter and I was professionally for 2 years in a small weekly - I wrote for student newspapers too.

But I then found out that general journalism wasn't for me. After a lot of waiting and going back to school I finally landed this present internship. I even found a freelance job where I can work from home!

I work as a security officer, and I choose it because it was pretty much the only job that would hire me. Also, because it is kind of like the military... not really, but it kind of is. A lot of veterans go into security, so it made sense. And the money is good enough.

I never had a dream job so to speak so I work doing whatever, mostly on short term. Construction, cleaning, security, warehouses... stuff like that. And I don't mind the unemployed life that much either, I have to admit.

Brigand : You don't mind in what way? You hate the regular 9-to-5 schedules? You hated previous jobs and wanted more autonomy? You would rather be self-employed?
