Kingsman: The Secret Service is easily the best movie I have seen so far in 2015 and I would have to say one of the best action movies that I have ever seen because most of it, if not all looked spectacular. Everything from the effects, to the casting, and even the music was just amazing, and I loved it. I remember way back at the start of 2014 I started seeing the trailer and I said it looked like a good movie and then the trailers just disappeared for almost a full year. In December I saw the new trailer and I right away told myself I had to see it. Every day the hyped built up and the movie turned out to be as good as I thought it would be.

The effects are really good, there's all sorts of epic fights and there's always a need for some far off effect, whether its falling from a jet, exploding heads, or massive fistfights. The entire movie is colorful and just jumps out at you, I'm sure that if this was in 3D or IMAX, that it could be a shoo in for an Oscar in terms of graphics. There are a few scenes where I feel that a great deal of effort has been put into effects and they all involve massive fights. These scenes are the church scene and the scenes across the world in massive riots. They look so real, but they have all sorts of outrageous parts that make it so much fun to watch.

The casting is also really good in my opinion, the main character Egsy is played by Taron Egerton. I never even heard of this guy until now but I think he did a great job as this character who turns from from drug addicted teenage criminal to gentleman spy. The rest of the cast is full with stars from Samuel Jackson and Michael Caine to Colin Firth and Mark Strong. Firth proved a lot with his role and from the looks of it, he did such a great job with this movie to warrant a look when its time to pick who plays the next James Bond. I think the selection of casting was really as good as it can get for a spy film.

At times, the music can play a pretty big part in the movie because there are parts that can really energize you. I remember watching the bar scene on YouTube before the movie came out and it didn't dawn to me that the music in that video was actually from the movie. That was actually my favorite song from the soundtrack because I ended up listening to it so many times and it became etched in my brain. I'm not going to say that the music is one of the best movie soundtracks available, but its definitely one of the best for this genre because it suits it really well and overall it has some great music.

The story basically follows two different arcs that intertwine. The first follows Egsy who gets chosen to go through a series of training practices along with others to become the next Kingsman and he learns to become a spy. The other arc follows Richmond Valentine who feels that the only way to stop Global warming is to wipe off the population of the earth. The story itself isn't exactly big, but how the story is portrayed is what makes the movie so epic because no shortcut was taken when making each scene, every detail was put in the best it can.

Every scene is all out or nothing, and because of that, a pretty decent story line puts this movie over the top and makes it extraordinary to watch. I saw it a couple of times in theaters actually and I plan on getting it when it comes out on DVD to relive the action over and over. I had expected a lot from this movie and it didn't dissappint me, easily one of the 6 or 7 best movies that I have ever seen, an A+ film.

I've been very interested about that movie ever since I saw the preview. I'm very glad that movie lived up to your expectations and I hope once I get to see that movie, I'll be just as impressed. Thank you very much for sharing your opinion of this movie.

To be honest, the action sequences alone from the trailer alone really caught my attention and I like spy movies a lot so I guess those 2 things would probably be what I'm most excited about.

I saw it when it first came out and I really liked it. I thought it was quite well done for a British themed movie. I just wish I could havve taken my sisters with me, seeing as how they are big Doctor Who fans and Sherlock fans.

zanderlex : I like how the movie went full circle from the first pub fight when Harry (Colin Firth) completely demolished the punks ganging up on Eggsy (Taron Egerton) to when Eggsy returns to the same pub in the end and does the very same. I thought that was the perfect way to end the movie. Of course the little interaction Eggsy had with the Princess of Sweden was brilliant! Definitely one of my favorite parts of the movie, besides of course all of the incredible action/fighting scenes.

wolf742 : I really liked how they came back at the end to show eggsy coming back and how he had progressed, mot to mention it shows that he was pretty much exactly the same as the guy played by Firth now which means he could be even more awesome than he was in the movie which makes me really want a sequel.

I actually can not wait to watch it. I am the only one out of all of my friends that has not actually seen it. Oh yeah and referring to last night on the post, "what are you eating" yes you can bake pork chops. You can pretty much bake anything.

DestinyHeroDC : Uh, that doesn't have anything to do with movies though. As for the movie, I hope you get to watch it soon and that you like it, I had to watch it two times because I loved it so much and I'm sure that you will like it as well if you like this kind of action.

DestinyHeroDC : I never knew of that, but instead of sending a PM, why didn't you post it in the thread instead? On the bright side, just another couple of days and you won't be a newbie anymore.

zanderlex : Oh a sequel with even more advanced technology and the same guy playing Eggsy would be incredible. I believe a sequel of this movie would do very well in the box office. Who doesn't like action+comedy with a side of drama and mystery to make your brain work as well. Aww man, now I want to watch it again!

wolf742 : THough a sequel will be awesome and I want one, it doesn't make any sense to make one really because its not like they can top what they did with the villian and a lot of extra stuff would need to be put in because more than half of the movie was about eggsy getting to that point and learning, with him already there, there's nothing left.

I highly doubt that there will be a sequel. As cool as the movie was, I don't think they left it open for a sequel.

And I think that Samuel L. Jackson's character was amazing. You don't see him playing the bad guy that often. And then the lisp that he had... you know how hard that must have been for him? His character was done amazingly well.

thing1 : It's cool because Samuel L Jackson was the one who told the directors to make his character have a lisp. He wanted his character to have that because he used to stutter when he was a kid and says it would make the character more memorable, and it did.

zanderlex : Well it could be that Eggsy has a child and instead of keeping being a spy a secret, he trains the child from as soon as he can talk. Just thinking out loud here. That being said it would be difficult to top Samuel L. Jackson as the villain, so it would probably fall short from its predecessor. Oh well, one can hope.

thing1 : The only other time I remember seeing Samuel L. Jackson as a villain is in Pulp Fiction. A lot of my favorite quotes are from his character in that movie. Unfortunately they are too vulgar for the Vizzed forum, but if you have seen the movie you have an idea as to which quotes I am referring to.

I don't know what made the casting people think of Samuel L. Jackson to play the villain in this movie, but I am stoked that they did because he was incredible.
thing1 : The only other time I remember seeing Samuel L. Jackson as a villain is in Pulp Fiction. A lot of my favorite quotes are from his character in that movie. Unfortunately they are too vulgar for the Vizzed forum, but if you have seen the movie you have an idea as to which quotes I am referring to.
