Hey everyone! Well, I made a thread in regards to networking and support so it only seems fair if there is a relatable topic in regards to disussions. While I have considered this I find it fair that this be open to all identifiers as well and those who don't. So, with that said here we go:

This thread is for the discussion of the sexuality being that you are into discussion on this particular topic. You can be whatever sexuality or not a sexuality. The point of this thread is to open constructive and healthy discussion about this topic. Feel free to discuss as you wish on all matters pertaining to this just please I ask obey vizzed rules and don't flame anyone. We all have our viewpoints on life and the things that are in it. Respect each other as well as yourselves when posting in this thread. Thank you and enjoi!

I'm gonna toss off a topic here to begin. I have this issue with the whole label thing. I feel that if we are to label ourselves too extensively not only do we lose self value but, we end up living a lie. I have no issue with people per say its just the whole label thing. I mean to example this...i like guys but, that was my choice and I do not feel that I need to call myself gay because of it. I also have concerns when it comes to legality as it just seems like while as a legal term labels could become just as illegal as they are legal. To put it mildly while I'm glad I have a name I think it is my right as to what I am called. Make sense? Thats all I can say for the moment. Looking forward to hearing what others have to say in this thread.

So then, would you bestow upon me my answer? In seems noninclusive after all to make a support thread and then forget a new group struggling to find identification. Why not make the thread to support those involved in bestiality? Also, would you support their cause?

If your (ultimate) goal is to change society, good luck. Gender, gender role and sexuality have been ingrained so deep in our minds that neither of us will live to see it change completely.

And I have to be honest: all these concepts are completely confusing. I am gay (and happily married), but I still have a hard time understanding the "other" concepts such as "gender fluid", "queer" and transgender. Hell, some social network sites have over 40 different identities! How do people come up with those name and are there some "science" behind those identities?

Quite right! That is why I try not to toil with them, it is simply so confusing! instead I just want to know what your body is made up of physically- whether you have males sex organs, or not. And then go from there. Much less confusing. It is quite ridiculous I must say how often people "change their gender." lol

Sword legion : Well... that subject CAN be opened to discussions. Although I don't pretend being a psychologist, there is apparently quite a process through which a transgender person must get through if he/she wants to completely change sex.

But I do admit getting confused by people simply being transgender, i.e. keeping the "original kit" but acting and dressing completely like the (stereotypical) other sex.

Sword legion : The difference between Different sexualities and bestiality is that the people are actively consenting to sex... The animals are not... but that's just my two cents on that matter.

On the topic of the thread... How do I feel about the different types of sexuality.. I don't.. Maybe that's because of my own sexuality... but I treat all people as people. I don't really pay much thought to what genitalia they have. I do try to call people by their preferred pronouns but as I try to explain to friends.. Change isn't an instant thing. Change always takes a while to transition with most things... 

Will the LGBT get treated with more respect in the future.. Probably.

To bring up a random example.. Gays/Lesbians weren't really accepted at all in the 60's or so... 50 years on.. It's progressed a long way but people still are not accepting of it.. And let's be honest most things in this planet are not accepted by all. Cultures think differently, React differently and behave differently. To think that change will happen so easily.. Is to dream of a Utopian society.

Also the point you mention with labels annoys me on a personal level. I understand that you don't want to be known by a "label/title" But regardless of what you call yourself people will still have opinions. Plus your pretty much assuming that because your gay people will label you... which in turn is labelling them... do you catch what I'm getting at.

TLR... Regardless of your opinion on whatever... There's a lot of people who see things differently.. Change will take decades if not centuries

Okay I'm not sure what angle you're going for here but let me go at it from a few angles..
1. Why do we need consent?
Well to put it bluntly the law requires it. Unless you want me to abolish all rational thought...  In that case. if there was no law.. I doubt a world full of people having sex without giving consent would lead to everyone having a "good time".. and well i wouldn't be surprised if all life on earth was gone in 4-5 centuries due to Sexually transmitted diseases etc.  I'd say that's far from not hurting anyone., 

2. Would i give support to people who have sex with living organisms without consent... 
The problem with this is that support falls under many categories... Would i give someone who was attracted to animals but was starving on the street "support".. Yes... Would i actively support people to have sex with animals.. No... 

I'll stick to those 2 for now... 

I'm not really sure what your getting at with the label part though... Considering i never said people should label you whatever they want... So yeah... try reading posts again perhaps?

We once thought the same of gay people, but of course time removed that silly rumor. Besides, STDs only hurt those who partake in them, not other people, if you're careful.

Look at extreme sports. They can end your life just like that, but our cultures approve of them. Danger is not a moral issue. It's an issue of rights, which is why those who take the dangerous route of sex must not be denied. And why those who are gay ought to support the poor minority who loves animals and need assistance or else be judged.

Now, raping is obviously wrong to your fellow human being. (Just because it's wrong, of course.) But an animal? What is so important about having consent from them? If you misunderstood, then do not worry, for I will make very clear the problem. I was speaking of consent in regards to having sex with animals. Why is that wrong? The fact that you cannot gain an animal's consent does not cause most of the medical issues, I assure you that. . .

Oh, but without a doubt my good boy, you must reread my post! I did not say that you should call anyone whatever you want, but should call them what they want- it's the only way to be reasonable. (And I would be thebestuser as you already know.)

You do realise that your saying that people who get raped want a good time right? and that nobody gets hurt doing so...

Well, I would expect you would have reasons for explaining why gay lifestyles are ok, and animal sex lifestyles are not.

Once, again, my approach to the idea of consent, I am not speaking about humans. People use the argument. "Animals cannot give you consent." As an argument to deny animal to human sexual relations. So, I ask why that's so important. Albeit, I must apologize, I should have made it clear that I was only asking why consent was so important regarding having sex with animals and inanimate objects.

Think about this, we eat animals, and do all sorts of things to them without their consent. And, if you haven't read my signature by now, then okay, you won't get what I am doing here.


Also, I find it interesting that you would use sexual diseases as an excuse to not support people who love animals.

Now, I'm not one to depend on the internet for all my information. It can be right, or wrong, and anyone can forge any kind of propaganda that they want to.

Also, the human brain is not made to enjoy any kind of sex outside of that of with other humans of the opposite sex.

Anything else is an error, and must be corrected. If we really care about the individual after all. . .

My beliefs on homosexuality come from those whom I have talked to IRL. And I know both people I've talked to, and actual family who have seen the dark side of life. And it does cause medical problems. Even taking the life of one of my gay family members. But oh well.

Ignore what the human body is made for, and keep encouraging young teens to walk down that destructive path. After all. Who you really are is much more important than mental health and well being of the body.

To be perfectly honest, I'm what people would consider "straight". However, I fully support gay marriage because they're not effecting the way I live my life. I think that if 2 gays want to get married , i say let them. Like I said before, it's not like it's effecting me. At the same time though, I don't get why people want to change their gender, though it doesn't effect MY life so it doesn't really bug me very much either.

i noticed some posts about consent. to comment on that...without consent there is the limit. if you have consent potentially there is none...depending on who you are with and what they are into. an inanimate object? i would say something about that but, i think i just dropped something. And as far as animals are concerned, until they evolve into a state at which consent is possible for them to give there is not a single anything that has any business doing things like that to them. We have had the ability to create enough respect for each other as humans on that and it does not condone the fact that we should treat anything else any different.

This is the core of the American spirit. That's why there is freedom of speech, of religion, of the press, etc. Further amendments also granted legal equality, and that's exactly what was used to strike down those nonsensical laws making homosexuality a crime.

Sword legion You are entitled to your beliefs and I won't try to make you change your mind. But talking about gay "lifestyle" makes no sense since one doesn't conscientiously "choose" that lifestyle; one just IS gay. I've been attracted to other guys as far as I can remember - age 6!

And for lack of a better word, homosexuality IS natural. Maybe it's Nature's way to control populations. It's found in more than 400 animal species, and not just mammals. 

So, I have a question. I guess it could go here... 

I am a male, and I identify as a male. I am only sexually attracted to women. However, I can't help but look at dudes butts sometimes, or other parts, and compare them to my own, or be like, " that's nice... " . I'm not attracted to the point where i want to be active with them, or even think of it as eye candy. It's more like I cant help butt look, even though I am not interested. 

What does that mean?

It could be a number of thingz thing as to why you do that. I do not really know you personally and when it comes down to the know we really know ourselves best out of everyone. To give you a bit of thought if you are interested you may just be finding that you can appreciate someone or someones who are like you when it comes to your gender even though you dont take it that far with them. We have the ability as humans to find beauty about things and so on. This could be something you are getting into. I recommend asking yourself what you find beautiful and what isnt so much beautiful in all of these things and maybe you will learn something about what you want each to mean for you. If you do have fun...:-)
