Although I am very excited about the Mortal Kombat X release also, there is no other fighting game quite like what the Tekken series has brought for me, and that's why I'm the most excited about Tekken 7. None of the games in the series, dating all the way back to the PSX, has disappointed me so far. I still remember when I played the first Tekken game. I rented it, played it for about a week, and I instantly fell in love...and I'm not really sure why. Tekken has always seemed to catch my attention before anything else.

Like I said before, I'm excited about the MKX release too. I plan on purchasing both in the future.

And as for Street Fighter...I've never really been a big fan of them, so I could really care less about it.

Never liked Street Fighter because freaking Vega and Dhalsim are overpowered in every way. Tekken is just Soulcalibur without weapons. Don't get me wrong, Soulcalibur is one of my favorite game franchises, but who wants to fist fight when you can use cool swords and axes and scissor hands and magic orbs? Mortal Kombat X would be way too gory and I could only play it when my parents are gone, so I wouldn't want to waste money on that. I guess if anything I would pick Tekken 7 just because I like Namco fighting games.
