Of course I do, it's freaking annoying.

But, at the end of the day they are yelling cause they care about me and the fact that I did something totally wrong..

My parents rarely ever yell at me anymore since we live in a densely packed condo. Nowadays they mostly just talk down to me into this condescending manner. I don't care all that much- I was the one who taught them that tactic.

My parent's rarely ever yell at me individually. Most of the times it is usually over trivial stuff between my siblings that doesn't really matter. It's really frustrating to listen to them yell and lecture in the hope that I'll be able to explain myself and the situation. I find it especially annoying when my parents only end up hearing bits and pieces of the whole argument because that makes it all the more difficult to explain the entire issue. 

I have two younger siblings, so it's a pain getting intertwined in an argument with them. My parents like to enforce fairness, so whenever there is an issue between all of us, they want to hear the story from each of everyone. This is problematic because my younger siblings tend to exaggerate the details and distort the facts. I try to distance myself from all conflict because it isn't worth it, and most of the time, what I have to say usually doesn't register with anyone else. 

When I'm by myself however, my parents almost never have to yell at me. In fact, they usually forget I'm in the room because I'm so quiet. 

My parents don't yell a lot at me, but when they do it's for good reasons most of the time. My dad rarely yells but will start complaining and only yells when we are yelling at each other, while my mom yells when she's mad about something or mad at us. However, when my mom is annoyed about something else and she starts yelling at us for something like asking a question then it annoys me.

I don't think anyone actually likes their parents yelling at them seems kind of weird.

But usually I hate it when my mom yells at me even if it isn't that often. Mostly because she thinks I've done something wrong and I disagree. There have been a few times where I felt it was justified though and I sort of accepted it as I figured I deserved it.

In general though I just try to avoid yelling altogether because I think it's unneccesary.

My mother used to scream at me all the time in a drunken rage and I still get very cautious around drunk people due to it.. She couldn't help it at the time she had pretty much just went through the worst period of her life and it took a few years of being reliant on alcohol to wash away the pain.. Thankfully she's back to normal.. She doesn't really remember much of those years.. So that's at least good for her peace of mind...

Moving on

I don't think I ever hated it when my parents shouted at me mainly because I deserved it most of the time by not listening to them or misbehaving except from the situation above.. Which was just on a constant basis.

I hate being yelled at altogether, it makes me feel horrible so I'm as nice as I possibly can be to others.



If I did something really bad then my parents would yell till their lungs popped but if it was a minor problem then they would sit me down and talk to me about what I have done wrong and how to stop it from happening in the future. They are generally calm and forgiving people

I think everyone dislikes being yelled at.

It depends on the reason though. I'd rather take some yelling over some other punishment. There are a few times where they scream at me thinking I did something wrong while in reality I didn't. That can annoy me a bit, though I just let it slide and it will be all forgotten in a day or so.

My parents haven't yelled at me in years, since I moved out and joined the Army actually. These days, if they yell are me, it is usually because we are in an argument, or I am just being really stupid and / or disrespectful, and I deserve it. 

I do hate it when they yell at me because it makes me feel like I failed at something. And when they yell at me and say that they want to talk to me I always get scared that they found out about the fact that I am a homosexual and that they are going to kick me out. So normally when I hear them yelling I make sure that I can grab anything that I need too in case they do find out and they do kick me out :/

I don't think that ANYONE likes getting yelled at. I guess it kinda depends on your own situation. Sometimes, when you think back on certain situations as you get older you understand why your parents were so hard on you in that instance. The fact that they only want the best for you and care about you.

Sometimes though, parent's get bogged down with the stresses in their lives and take it out on the kids. Sadly. So in that instance I don't blame kids for being resentful of that situation...as I was when I was growing up.

Nobody likes being yelled at. I am one of those people. I know that sometimes I kinda deserve to be yelled at. But it's never pleasant. Plus usually when I'm yelled at; things are taken too far out of proportion. So...yeah. It sucks, there's sometimes a reason. But either when I do or don't, I still hate it.
